  • Hi! Still waiting to hear any news. The site is still missing, also.
I hope we hear something soon, as it would be a magical opportunity to enrich my kindergarteners with even more creativity!
    Good luck everyone!

  • Have they already sent all of the winners emails or are they still coming?

  • Megan, do you think they’re going to announce the winners or make more news about it? I just find it super odd and honestly suspicious that the entire website is gone. Why won’t they even tell us if we didn’t get it?

  • If you didn’t receive an email from them then you weren’t picked. I just spoke to someone who works for Disney imagination campus and that’s what she said. Only winners will hear something.

  • Good luck, everyone!! I haven’t heard anything yet. Fingers crossed!

  • Wishing everyone luck!!! Hopefully we will hear soon! Thank you Disney for this unique opportunity!!

  • Would love to have this opportunity to carry back ideas to my first graders and sped students. Of course, I love everything Disney!!! Hoping they will let us know soon!! Best of luck to everyone!

  • I haven’t head back either. I keep checking my email waiting! Does anyone know if we will get an email if we don’t get selected? They may only send an email to the winners

  • This would be the best workshop learning!!!

  • I have been checking the website daily to see if the winners were posted. I hope Disney is working an amazing way to notify the 50 lucky teachers. Until I hear the status of my submission I will keep checking back. Thank you for the opportunity for this contest.

  • Very excited waiting for the results for this! I noticed the website is no longer up and running.

  • I haven’t heard anything either, yes or no. Hoping we all hear back soon! This sounds like an incredible experience!

  • Just figured I’d chime in too. I haven’t received any response either, yes or no. Hope we all hear back soon! This opportunity sounds so incredible.

  • I’m checking too on the status. How will winners be contacted? I went to the website to see the rules and it’s gone. Crossing my fingers that I got picked!

  • Also checking in regarding the status of the contest.

  • When will the winners be announced? And how are they announced? Via email, phone, letter? I’m anxiously awaiting the results!

  • Hello there! Did they announce the winners of the contest yet?

  • Hi Jessica! I wanted to check back in on this because I noticed the website for entries is no longer available, as in I can’t even look at the rules anymore. I also noticed that the notifications start coming out today. Will at the winners be notified at once? Or will there be an article about the winners?

  • Were the winners announced today?

  • A little frustrated here. I work with college students. I just went to submit this and the option is not there. Before even taking the time to write this, I read the rules several times and no where was it noted that college level teaching is not considered teaching.

  • Stephanie’s comment below worked for me! You might have to delete spaces here and there to make sure it works (took me a couple of tries) but it finally submitted. Thanks Stephanie!

  • For those of you having the same trouble I did with the error message,” invalid title length”…. you have to type your essay without paragraphs! Hope this helps you out!

  • Has anyone gotten a solution to the “title length is invalid”message when trying to submit your essay?

  • Is there a solution for the “title length is invalid” issue when trying to post your essay? Nothing seems to work. Please help.

  • Is there a solution for the “title length is invalid” issue?

  • I have tried to submit my essay, but it keeps saying, “title length is invalid.” Not sure what this means or how to remedy it. Does anyone know what this is about? My essay does not exceed the character limit, so not sure? Thanks..

  • I have tried to submit my essay, but it keeps telling me ” title length is invalid.” I am not sure what is wrong. I have not exceeded the 2500 characters. Can someone please tell me how to remedy this? Thank you.

  • I am having issues once I get logged in. Is there an issue on the essay submit page?

  • 2500 characters was so short! I would have loved to submit my original essay- I had so much to say!

  • Can a student nominate a teacher? Or does the teacher have to do the submission themselves?

  • I LOVE THIS!!! I submitted mine!! THIS IS SO ME! EXCITING!!! I would love to work for DISNEY in the near future! 🙂

  • You should have a program for a foreing teacher to… I’m a school teacher in Chile and dream about a oportunity like this 😔

  • Winners receive a four-day, three-night trip to Disney…for ONE. So generous.

  • I saw this too @Kim comment… the dropdown menu says: “dance teacher, theater or music teacher.” Should we select either one since there’s no area to write in other – especially if we are an education administrator? Please clarify, thank you!

  • I’m also confused by the registration form – the drop down menu only allows three choices. Does that mean that general classroom or other subject area teachers (ELA, Social Studies, etc.) are not allowed to enter?

  • The registration form only allows you to choose your role as being a dance, theatre or music teacher. Is it limited to those areas, or are all teachers eligible?

    • Hi Kim! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The contest is open to all elementary, middle, and high school teachers. The contest site has been updated to reflect this information.
