Plaza Point, an All-New Holiday Store, Coming Soon to Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park

I’m excited to tell you about a very special new shop opening soon at Disneyland park! It’s an all-new holiday store called Plaza Point, coming to the corner of Main Street, U.S.A., and East Plaza Street.

Today we have Dawn Keehne, Resort Enhancement Manager sharing some of the store details and providing you with a sneak peek of the skilled artistry that’s underway in preparation for opening day.

This Victorian-era space will envelop you in the warmth of the holidays as soon as you step into the wood-paneled space decorated with garlands, nutcrackers and festive décor! Careful observers will notice displays that reflect seasonal holidays around the world and our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Once the store opens, you’ll see a variety of holiday goods available to purchase for yourself or as gifts for family and friends including ornaments, housewares, linens and accessories. And you’ll want to visit throughout the year because other holidays like Hanukkah, Lunar New Year, Spring and Easter, and Fall and Halloween will be reflected in merchandise and store decor at appropriate times, along with Christmas-themed merchandise year-round.

Here’s also a first look at some of the inspirational pieces and décor you may see during the year:

Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog to learn more about this new holiday store!

  • Any news on when this will open? I heard October 16 from some unofficial sources, but I would guess November 12 when the holiday season starts at Disneyland?

  • I get that the Photo Supply Co. is out of date, so I’m good with this change.

The one question I have: on my last trip, I couldn’t get my Space Mountain photograph because the wifi was not good in the Space Mountain exit tunnel to put the photo code into my account. I was told to go to Photo Supply Co. to find it and attach it to my account, which the wonderful cast members were able to do. Will this still be able to be done, there or elsewhere?

  • Debbie, I don’t know what year(s) you were a cast member, but Disneyland had a year round Christmas shop 1st located in Frontierland and then it was moved to New Orleans Square. Sadly it was replaced with other Merch a few years ago, so this is a very welcomed shop for me!

  • I believe it being placed in the old camera store location.

  • Hi Debbie,
I believe the store is being placed at the former site of the camera store, not the Emporium.

  • Debbie–
This actually isn’t the Emporium space, it’s the former Photo Supply Co. shop.

Thank you Disney for continuing to update the original Disneyland.

  • Great idea, as a former premium pass holder for many years and a former cast member I had always hoped for a year round Holiday Shop at the resort. The only issue I have with it is you taking away the most iconic shop in all of Disney away. The Emporium should be a permanent fixture. So at the same time I’m happy for the new store but disappointed that the Emporium is being left behind.
