Welcome foolish mortals to the Haunted Mansion: Ambassador edition.
Ali and Raevon here! We know what you’re thinking – isn’t it time to say goodbye to Halloween and hello to the winter holidays? Well… you have a point, but we’re taking one last look at some of the wicked fun we had with Haunted Mansion and Cosmetology cast members during one of the last nights of “Disney After Hours Boo Bash.”
During one of the most spell-tacular role shadows to date, we received a ghostly makeover to really help us prepare for the supernatural surprises that awaited right inside the haunted estate.
Each special event night, Cosmetology cast members helped Haunted Mansion cast members look… alive as event guests explored the mansion after hours.
“It’s a lot of fun,” Cosmetology Coordinator Trevor said. “We get to bring the fun of cosmetology and makeup to different lines of business that don’t get to use it every day.”
This experience was definitely something we were looking forward to since becoming Ambassadors, and it’s something Haunted Mansion cast members look forward to each year as well.
“Working during this season is probably my favorite time of year,” Haunted Mansion Trainer Marol said. “I get to see my coworkers turn into extra sinister versions of their best selves.”
We can’t believe the season for tricks – and treats – has already come and gone, but we’re incredibly thankful for all the cast members who helped guests and each other have a ghoulish good time this Halloween. We sure hope the frightful fun hurries baaaaaaaack!
And with that… it’s time to swap the cobwebs for flannel pj’s and cocoa because it’s officially the holidays here at Walt Disney World Resort, and we’re already planning our next festive role shadow. Stay tuned!
