As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, let’s turn the spotlight on four female cast members from Hong Kong Disneyland who share their stories and thoughts to inspire us all to be our best selves and to create a better tomorrow:

Eleanor, Custodial

Eleanor’s hard work ethic, optimism and independence shines through both her personal and professional life. She supported her daughter’s decision to study abroad while in school and gain exposure to different cultures and perspectives. After graduating, her daughter chose to join Disney and start her professional journey side by side with her mother. Disney isn’t all this mother-daughter duo has in common — they also enjoy building miniature handcrafts together! Eleanor loves interacting with the younger guests at the park and being part of the magic that entertains and inspires all.

Jo, Design & Show Quality

Jo was born in Singapore, studied in Hong Kong and worked in the United States for a short stint. Given her multicultural background, Jo fiercely advocates for diversity and inclusion, and is passionate about encouraging young women to be brave and bold. Jo is proud to work for a company with strong core values that align with her own.

Cassandra, Human Resources

Hong Kong Disneyland holds a special place in Cassandra’s heart and not just because she’s worked there for over ten years! She met her husband while working there and they now have two beautiful children that they can share the Disney magic with. Cassandra and her husband feel empowered by Hong Kong Disneyland to do their best work all while prioritizing time together as a family.

Sujana and Marissa, Housekeeping

Both from Nepal and the Philippines respectively, Sujana and Marissa have worked in Hong Kong for many years and enjoy the resort’s equal working conditions and treatments. As working moms, they are proud to support their families and are proud to lead by example for their children. Sujana connects closely to Disney’s mission to inform, since her fervent hope is for better education for women around the world, creating new generations of inspiring women.
