Sun, sand, and relaxation await you at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, which is located on the shimmering Atlantic Coast. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy everything a beach trip should include, plus the magic of a Disney destination.
Just a two-hour drive from Walt Disney World Resort, planDisney panelists recommend combining a trip to the parks with a trip to this beach-side resort. Plus the surrounding town features some of the best golf courses in Florida, as well as shops and boutiques galore. But what about the relaxation? We hear you!
Guests staying at this beach resort can grab a chair and enjoy a restful day on the Atlantic beach or at the Vero Beach Feature Pool. Complete with a Mickey Mouse-shaped swimming pool, and pool temperatures that would keep even Elsa warm. The Spa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort will also have you forgetting about the “real world” through a full offering of massage services.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort offers guests a wide variety of room selections. Deluxe Studios can sleep up to four adults and offer either one queen bed and one double-size sleeper sofa or two queen beds. Have a few more guests in your party? Then the Villas might be the perfect choice for your party. One- and two-bedroom villas are available with the two-bedroom villas accommodating up to nine adults.
When visiting, guests may be lucky enough to catch baby Loggerhead Sea Turtles making their way to the ocean. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort does indeed share space with the nesting grounds of these adorable turtles. So much thought was given to these little animals that Disney even made sure the resort’s east-facing windows were tinted to lower the lighting at night. This is such a cool experience, and it is even discussed among panelists on last month’s planDisney podcast! Guests should stop by the front desk to ask about turtle conservation activities happening during their stay.
And as the sun sets on this Pocket Guide, let’s not forget about dining. Wind & Waves Grill is the perfect spot to enjoy American cuisine for breakfast and dinner. Shrimp, fish, burgers, and chicken are only a few of the delectable items you will find on this menu. Wind & Waves Market is a quick service location where guests can grab a snack or a lighter meal during the day. And of course, adult cocktails can be found at Wind & Waves Bar! Cheers to one fantastic beach getaway!
