Greetings to all across the galaxy!

There’s a lot of exciting news coming out of this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, and I’m thrilled to be sharing a first look at some of the new products that were revealed.

During today’s Star Wars Merchandise Sneak Peek, panelists Brad Schoeneberg, Tracie Alt, Cody Hampton, Amanda Rubinos-Luna, Elisa Melchiori and John Henselmeier took to the Twin Suns Stage with host Amy Ratcliffe to give a behind-the-scenes look at how the merchandise of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was created. The panel also gave us a sneak-peek at new products coming soon to Disney Parks and shopDisney.

First, let’s take a look at some exciting new Lightsaber hilts coming soon to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and other Star Wars retail locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. To celebrate the premiere of the new limited-series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” streaming now on Disney+, we got a first look at the new Obi-Wan Legacy Lightsaber Set, coming soon to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities and available for pre-order at shopDisney beginning May 31st at 7:00 a.m. PT. The Legacy Lightsaber Set includes the Lightsaber collectible based on the lightsaber used by the iconic Jedi Master in “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and includes the blade, hilt, belt clip and display stand.

But that’s not the only new Legacy Lightsaber collectible you’ll be able to get your hands on … soon, you’ll be able to add Darth Sidious and Plo Koon Lightsaber collectibles to your collection, coming to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort later this summer.

You’ll also be able to pick up a brand new plush during your travels to Batuu! Younglings will love cuddling up with this adorable Therii plush available only at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Soon, you’ll be able to stop by the creature cart at Black Spire Outpost to bring home your very own Gorg plush!

Need somewhere secure to store your credits and valuables? Check out this new Camatono Case, featuring a customizable lock feature and a sleek cylindrical design that’s small enough to be tucked under the average humanoid’s arm – perfect for a quick getaway! Travelers can get their hands on these beginning tonight at Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite and beginning May 31st on shopDisney.com.

You might remember that in 2020 we asked you to vote for which Lightsaber hilt you’d most like Dok-Ondar to add to his Den of Antiquities, and earlier this year the Cal Kestis Legacy Lightsaber Hilt was added to his collection. Dok-Ondar was so impressed with your last selection that once again, he’s asking you to cast your vote as he looks to expand his hilt offerings!

Beginning today, fans can vote below to let Dok-Ondar know which Lightsaber hilt they’d most like to be offered at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. These Legacy Lightsaber hilts are modeled after the lightsabers of heroic and legendary Jedi from across the galaxy, so make your choice and let us know below who’s hilt you’d most like to see next! Choose between the hilts of Jocasta Nu, Sifo-Dyas, Quinlan Vos, Depa Billaba, Barriss Offee, or Kanan Jarrus.

Vote now through June 10th and stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog where we will announce the results this summer!

Comments

  • If I had to choose someone from this selection it would be Sifo-dyas, but I would love to see Ezra’s first saber, Savage Oppress’ saber, dark Rey’s saber’s, Revan’s saber’s, Plo Koon’s orange saber, and an inquisitor saber.

  • Anakin Skywalker‘s lightsaber from episode ll

  • Voted for Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus this time! Got the Cal Kestis hilt I voted for last time, now I get to vote for my close soci d favorite! Also I love that we’re getting my third favorite from that 2020 poll, Qui-Gon Jinn’s saber hilt! Hopefully we’ll see the S3-4 Ezra and EP2 Anakin saber hilts someday too! Corvax was Aldo really cool, though I don’t know how they’d work that one out.
This poll has more great options! I’d love to see all of these of course, Jocasta’s is so elegant, the intricate design of Sifo-Dyas’ hilt is incredible, Barriss Offee has so much potential reusability, and Depa Billaba’s is all around amazing. Maybe they’d even have that one be color-chsnging! Unlikely I guess, but I can dream. 🙂

  • I voted for Barriss Offee because her lightsaber design is, not only beautiful, but widely used among MANY other jedi and could offer GREAT reuse! We could get a very slight variation of this saber as Shaak Ti’s lightsaber (my favorite character). Just like what’s being done with Luminara’s saber to make Plo Koon’s! Barriss’s saber could even offered us a Ventress padawan lightsaber and Adi Gallia later down the line! This would just be a great idea from a marketing perspective AND a fan perspective 😀

  • Voted Kanan again for the second time. We have seen his character longer and develop in his own show and went out like a true Jedi would’ve. We need his saber. Also we need yoda’s at some point in the future as well.

  • Kanan Jarrus must be made. Next to the Skywalker series iconic hilts anyone who loves Rebels would appreciate having Kanan’s saber hilt.

  • Kanan Jarrus

  • Voted Kanan Jarrus

  • I want the anakin episode 2 lightsaber from the last vote please bring it or better yet anakin episode 3 lightsaber please disney

  • Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus

  • I vote for Quinlan Vos.

  • I vote for Kanan Jarrus

  • That Camatono Case looks perfect for fans of Willrow Hood! Save the Ice Cream!!

  • please vote sifo dyas his a cool guy im reading dooku jedi lost right now and i just love sifo

  • Sifo Dyas

  • Forget Jocasta Nu’s lightsaber, we need her robes.

  • As amazing as the votable selection is, I would love some from classic Sith Lords, such as Revan’s other saber (non-black series), Darth Malak, Darth Nhilius, or even Darth Malgus. Honestly, there’s too many good ones to even list. I did vote for Barris Offee. We need some strong Jedi offerings too. Excited for the new Obi-Wan’s. It’s endless the possibilities, and everyone is anxious to have their favorite character/accessory featured. All in due time. It’s an exciting time to be a SW fan!

  • Would love to see Savage Oppress, being able to join 2 saber halves together like the Darth Maul or Cal Kestis sabers. Plus, Savage’s saber sounds so much deeper and more menacing when it was ignited and swung around.

Also hoping to see Yoda’s and Kit Fisto’s (we definitely need more Green Lightsabers besides Luke and Ahsoka’s Padawan’s),

either of Ezra Bridger’s, since the green one was in the previous saber vote, and the blue one would be cool with its blaster function.

Anakin’s Padawan saber from Episode 2 (since it too was part of the last saber vote. And Lord Corvax’s Lightsword and Kanan Jarrus’s saber for that matter. Just to finish off the sabers from the last Legacy Lightsaber Vote)

And maybe Cere Junda’s, to pair with a half of Cal Kestis’s?
(Some other Fallen Order sabers would be really cool too, like Cal’s Padawan saber, Eno Cordova’s, or Taron Malicos’s)

  • Would Depa Billaba’s Lightsaber be able to toggle between blue and green like Ahsoka’s Padawan sabers? Since in the comics, the color of her saber’s blade is green, but in The Bad Batch Season 1, Episode 1, it was changed to be Blue.

  • Why have we not had Darth sidious or yoda’s lightsaber

  • Also, when is an Inquisitor Lightsaber coming to his collection? I would definitely buy that!

  • I personally would like to see how Kanan’s saber would turn out, seeing in the Rebels tv show, it can twist and disconnect for less suspicion of a lightsaber. In my opinion I’d like to see if it could actually come apart as a legacy lightsaber.

  • Kanan Jarrus

  • Barris Offee it’s unique lightsaber

  • Barrie’s Offee, they also announced their making Qui-Gon Jinn’s lightsaber

  • PLEASE vote Sifo Dyas. It’s the most unique looking one and possibly our only chance at getting one that’s budget friendly.

  • Kanan Jarrus for the second time.

  • Welcome to the blog Ms. Lyssa!

  • Barris Offee
