Magic makeovers are back!
I’m pleased to share that earlier today, a magical proclamation was found in Fantasyland announcing a very special return. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will soon welcome young guests once again for royal head-to-toe transformations at both Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland park at Disneyland Resort on August 25.
Our cast members – Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices – will transform guests ages 3 to 12 into some of their favorite Disney characters with hairstyling, makeup, costumes and accessories. In addition, the reopening ushers in even more options to choose from, including a new hair accessory especially designed for textured hair and new costumes featuring some of Disney’s newest heroes and heroines coming later this year.
Located in the heart of Magic Kingdom and Disneyland park, the reopening of these two iconic locations will join the slate of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques aboard Disney Cruise Line, including the newest addition at sea on the Disney Wish. And stay tuned for more details about Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney Springs, which will reopen at a later date.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has a long legacy of making dreams come true for children around the world. My mom and I frequently reminisce about the day my kid sister had her royal makeover. It was truly a magical moment for my whole family, and I just can’t wait to share that experience with other families when Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique returns to Disney World and Disneyland.
Guests may begin making reservations for these magical transformations in early August only in the My Disney Experience app and Disneyland App, or at DisneyWorld.com and Disneyland.com. Valid admission and park reservations are required for entry into Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland park.

Today is October 7. It is now 60 days from our visit to reserve makeovers for my three great granddaughters. It appears none of December is open (calendar days are all grey) December 1 through 6 should be unlocked for reservations. They are not. NONE are open for December. When can I expect to make reservations? I know that they fill fast. I don’t want to disappoint my great-granddaughters.
Can anybody help me? I have emailed, still no response, chatted to be told I have to use the website to make reservations and called to be told pretty much the same. How can I make reservations when they are not available? Please help!
I’ve been checking every day and it was only open thru Oct 1st then today 2 weeks opened all at once but they were all full? I’ve been calling and chatting trying to get an answer on what time they were posted but no response. I’ve heard 6am 8am and 10am. I don’t understand what I could have done differently, the process and timing is so vague! My daughter is going for her 5 year old birthday on Oct 6 and is devastated she can’t get into bibbidi bobbidi!

I arrive on 14th October and I am wanting to book this during our stay! I have booked lunch with the princess on 17th so would love to do this before she goes to meet them. Please can you advise when this can be booked as I wouldn’t want to miss it!

I’ve had a nightmare trying to book onto this for late September. I’ve called 3 times and had a different story each time, so have emailed guest services. It seems chaotic!
Hi. Is there a date set for reservations to open? I have been checking the website as well as this blog site everyday since August 1st. I’m not seeing anything and it’s only 2 weeks until opening. Thank you.

Hello, in your estimation when will the window for making appointments open? On that first day to make appointments will it be for 60 days in advance?
I had been checking the site frequently and was also so sad to find out that the boutique wasn’t opening until August 25 and we will be there Aug 9. My 4 year old daughter’s favorite things our princesses and salons, so I was really hoping she could get the magical experience at Bippity Boppity Boutique. Is there any possible way we could still make an appointment for any kind of experience at the Boutique, even if it’s not the full package? Perhaps she can be a guinea pig for the staff to practice on before the opening day? I know she would absolutely love the Boutique!!
My six-year old daughter, who is princess-obsessed, still doesn’t know about this, partly thanks to being three when the pandemic shut it down. My wife and I have been waiting to surprise her with a makeover at Disneyland’s BBB, and will definitely book one on our next visit!

So sad that it is not reopening until the end of August. My little one has been so excited, but we will miss this magical moment since we are going at the beginning of August. Any word about the Grand Floridian location reopening? Keep our fingers crossed for the beginning of August.
