Today we celebrate International Yoga Day by adding magic to mindfulness in a way only Disney can do!

From yoga in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort to the Halawai lawn of Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, cast members are enjoying ways to tap into both their balance, power, and Zen.

Since 2015, countries around the globe have observed this day and the benefits provided by the ancient Indian tradition of yoga, including how the practice embodies a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

From improving heart health and reducing stress to increasing your energy – yoga has benefits for everyone, and those benefits are aligned with The Walt Disney Company’s continued focus on encouraging mental, emotional, and physical wellness for its employees and cast.

  • How about a Christian pride day. You celebrate everything else including a “Yoga” day. Why not a Christian day. Oh that’s because you respects everyone’s religion so you want to avoid discrimination. But you celebrate LGBT pride week and don’t care how others feel about that so it really comes down to politics. I’ve been a Disney fan for the past 50 yrs. But no longer. My values are more important than what your selling. Wokeness will be your demise.

  • Mind and body balance so Cast Members can provide the Disney Magic to hundreds of guests a day. Love that Disney offered this! Namaste!
