In Central Florida lies a special team of cast members who spend more one-on-one time with guests than any other role. You may have interacted with these cast members through the phone, virtual chat or maybe even email.
Over the years, this team has had a few different names, from Disney Reservation Center to Walt Disney Travel Company to Travel Operations. Now known as Disney Central, this magical team of cast members is where the magic begins for many guests, long before they arrive in the Sunshine State.
When they’re not making magic planning seamless vacations, the Disney Central team likes to have some fun! At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney Central cast members recently had the chance to hang loose at an exclusive event just for them. Since 2008, the Disney Central Leadership Team has held this recognition event at Typhoon Lagoon, inviting cast members and their friends and families to enjoy an evening of surprise character greetings, a complimentary meal, dance parties and of course, access to all of the attractions in the park.
