Star Wars fans, rejoice! I have some brand new updates that I think you’re going to be excited about.
It’s no mystery why lightsabers have been the subjects of awe and admiration from all who have ventured into the Star Wars galaxy. To the Jedi Knights, lightsabers represent so much more than combat – they’re a symbolic badge of honor to those who serve the will of the Force. In the hands of the Sith, the power they wield can take on a whole different meaning.
As the Star Wars galaxy expanded through films, television shows, books, games and comics, so has the lore surrounding lightsabers. As more Jedi and Sith appeared within the galaxy, new fighting styles, blades and hilts became available for fans to learn about and appreciate. Undoubtedly, they have become iconic pop culture icons that have stood the test of time, and fans around the world have shown their appreciation – and impressive collections!
Back in May during Star Wars Celebration, we announced the opportunity to vote for the next Legacy Lightsaber Hilt right here on the blog. We’ve tallied the results and the wait is finally over! You answered the call, and the Legacy Lightsaber Hilt with the winning vote was… *drumroll please*… Padawan Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus)!

Once known by the name Caleb Dume, Kanan Jarrus survived the Emperor’s purge, going underground for years and hiding the truth about who he really was. Carrying a lightsaber openly in the age of the Empire would have given away his affiliation as a Jedi, so he kept his lightsaber in pieces on his belt only to be assembled when necessary. In an overwhelming majority, more than half of you voted for Kanan’s Lightsaber to be added to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, and lucky for us he’s happy to oblige your request. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for an update on when this collectible Lightsaber hilt will become available!
We also revealed a first look at the new Plo Koon Legacy Lightsaber Hilt, and I’m thrilled to announce that fans will soon be able to purchase this collectible hilt at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort beginning July 8, 2022.

Last but certainly not least, I have one more exciting update to share. Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, the Limited Edition Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber Hilt Set is perfect for any collector or Ahsoka Tano fan. With a stunning case that plays Ahsoka’s theme song when opened, this set includes two lightsaber hilts modeled after the lightsabers she uses in “Star Wars: Rebels” and includes an individual numbered limited edition plaque.
Only 6,000 of this limited-edition collector’s set were made available worldwide, and I’m pleased to share that a limited quantity will be available for purchase at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, only available at Walt Disney World Resort beginning July 1, 2022 until supplies last.

Which Legacy Lightsaber Hilt are you most looking forward to adding to your collection? Let us know, and be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest details on Legacy Lightsaber Hilt releases and reveals.
