July 14 holds a special place in the hearts of French people as the country celebrates its national day, Bastille Day. Traditionally a bank holiday, all villages, towns and cities across France celebrate the occasion with incredible parties and dazzling fireworks which are enjoyed from day until night.

At Disneyland Paris, this is no different! There is so much French-inspired fun to be enjoyed at the parks today. Let’s take a look at how guests can celebrate Bastille Day at Disneyland Paris.

A celebration at Disneyland Paris is not complete without our favorite Disney characters! Guests can head over to Studio Theater in Walt Disney Studios to celebrate with Minnie Mouse and friends as they don their marvelous Parisian outfits in front of a beautiful backdrop featuring the most famous Paris sights, including Sacré Coeur and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Complete with a heart-themed dress and Eiffel Tower hat, Minnie’s special outfit will make guests say “Ooh la la” while they capture the memories of Bastille Day at Disneyland Paris with a Meet and Greet with Minnie.

What better way to remember the Bastille Day celebrations at Disneyland Paris than with a Parisian-inspired souvenir? After a relaxing and delicious meal, guests can round off an incredible day at Disneyland Paris with a spectacular firework display over Sleeping Beauty Castle. For the special occasion, Disneyland Paris will treat guests to not only one firework display but two! Following the fan-favorite “Disney Illuminations,” guests can marvel at a second display of the night to commemorate Bastille Day from 11.30 p.m.
