The opening of Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris has given us an opportunity to thank some of our everyday Super Heroes – healthcare workers and community voluntEARS.

Ten days before its grand opening to the public, 1,200 community members were the first to experience Avengers Campus and become new recruits. Invitees included staff from the Grand Hôpital de l’Est Francilien, children from local Val d’Europe social care centers, and the non-profit association Restos du Cœur Île-de-France.

“Moments like this are great,” shared Jean-Christophe Phelep, Head of Grand Hôpital de l’Est Francilien. “Disneyland Paris has supported the organization in the past with various donations, and staff were happy and excited to share this experience with a guest of their choosing.”

The adventure doesn’t end there. Throughout the year, Disneyland Paris will invite more than 20,000 volunteers, children and their families from nonprofits to visit Avengers Campus. And as the world’s largest wish granter, we’ll continue to grant life-changing wishes for children facing serious illness, including those for children who wish to meet Marvel characters and discover their inner Super Hero.
