Exclusive Member spaces have long been part of what Disney Vacation Club proudly calls “Membership Magic.” From the Top of the World Lounge, which recently reopened with villainous new offerings atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, to the colorful Member Lounge perfectly perched in the iconic glass pyramid of the Imagination! pavilion at EPCOT, these exclusive enclaves are among Disney Vacation Club Members’ favorite places at Walt Disney World Resort.

Today, I’m thrilled to share that Disney Vacation Club is now developing its first Member Lounge at Disneyland Resort in California. Called “Disney Vacation Club Star View Station” and anticipated to open in the first half of 2023, the new lounge will be located in the heart of Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, in the space on the second floor of the Star Wars: Launch Bay building. The sleekly designed “space” will be home to a dedicated Disney Vacation Club Member Services team, as well as plenty of casual seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, device-charging stations and more.

The new lounge will be open daily during scheduled hours to eligible* Disney Vacation Club Members with valid park tickets and reservations to Disneyland Park.

Today, there are a total of 15 Disney Vacation Club properties across four states, including Disney’s Riviera Resort, the newest Disney Vacation Club property at Walt Disney World Resort, the recently expanded Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii.

  • Very excited that some DVC perks are finally coming to California! Looking forward to more and heading to the new lounge!

  • So excited to FINALLY have some DVC perks in California instead of everything being in Florida. Thank you so much we can’t wait for this to open.

  • This is great news! We love the Epcot DVC lounge. This plus the new DVC tower will be a great new addition to Disneyland. Looking forward to enjoying the lounge.

  • This would be GREAT! news except for the fact that even being a Disneyland Premium Pass Holder for years and DVC member I still need a reservation to get into that park and to use the lounge. Sounds a lot like Oga’s Cantina and the Sonoma Terrace that was set up for Annual pass holders which turned into a 2+ hours wait past your reservation time. With all the New Chap Magic I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore DVC points for a while, I have enough to do the cruises and non-park resorts but putting more money into DVC to go to the back of the line isn’t worth it.

  • Why is it at the small park first and not at Disney World first

  • Let’s get some Disneyland Moonlight Magic please.

  • When are they going to start annual passes again? They should at LEAST allow DVC members to get them! I have started to use points and NOT go to the park because it is no longer affordable! I have 2 trips planned for 2023 and only getting passes for a few days of the 12 scheduled days there between the 2 trips. I can eat elsewhere and explore other venues instead for cheaper. And we are true DISNEY people but are fed up.

  • Wow..this will be an absolute godsend place to take a break from the hot Anaheim sun! Looking forward to its opening!
