It was a weekend full of magical miles and fairy tale finishes during the 15th Anniversary runDisney 2023 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by CORKCICLE. Filled with magical moments of accomplishment amongst the amazing runDisney community, the weekend celebrated not only the Disney Princesses but those who support them. The enchanting race weekend featured four events including Disney Princess Yoga, three endurance runs and a multi-race challenge to put runners to the test.
Speaking of testing skill, it was a historic runDisney weekend with an impressive final finish and overall win at the Disney Princess Half Marathon for Denver, Colorado runner Neely Gracey! Running into our record books, Gracey’s win became the third time in runDisney history that a woman was the overall winner of the race. Her win didn’t come without a fight though. She passed second-place finisher Michael Fussner in the final stages, crossing the finish line just seven seconds ahead of him. Rounding out the anniversary event’s winners, Heather Sealover of Bossier City, Louisiana, came in first place in the wheelchair division with a time of 1:08.
The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend closes out the third race weekend in the 2022-2023 runDisney race season. A big congratulations to all the weekend’s racing royalty!
