We are shouting “irayo”–which means thanks in Na’vi—from the floating mountaintops today! Cast members at Disney’s Animal Kingdom bring the story of Pandora to life for millions of guests every year, and the filmmakers and movie talent from “Avatar: The Way of Water” recently shared their own special “irayo” message to our cast members at Pandora – The World of Avatar!
Not only did the talent from the film meet with cast members from Disney’s Animal Kingdom ahead of the new movie’s release, this special video helped kick off cast-exclusive early screenings of the film at Walt Disney World Resort for cast members.
As you can tell, the filmmakers and movie talent are filled with enormous gratitude for the dedicated cast members who keep the spirit of Pandora alive every day. Cast members have immersed guests into the story of Pandora since the land opened in 2017, reigniting a passion for the Na’vi since the first “Avatar” film debuted in 2009.
To our cast members: thank you for inspiring the world, introducing new generations to the story of Pandora, and sharing the spirit of Na’vi wonder for years to come.
