When Elie Docter was eleven years old, she inspired her father Pete Docter, Chief Creative Officer for Pixar Animation Studios, to create the movie “Inside Out.” She was also the voice of young Ellie in “Up,” so it’s safe to say she grew up around amazing Pixar storytelling.

You might think that was plenty of excitement for Elie, but after graduating from college – and without mentioning it to her dad or mom – she applied and was accepted to the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida! For six months she worked in attractions at EPCOT and loved her experience creating the same fun for guests that she experienced growing up.

As her program came to an end, Pete and Elie sat down together to talk about her Disney College Program experience, why she chose to work at Disney, and the benefits of the program for her and other college students.
