We are almost there because the grand opening of Tiana’s Palace over at Disneyland park is coming soon. On Sept. 7, the doors to this new establishment will be opening to feed hungry guests a little taste of New Orleans inspired by Tiana herself, and I’ve got the full menu for you.

Nestled on Orleans Street, this soon-to-be hotspot will be serving up can’t-miss classics like gumbo and beignets, but with a tasty twist you can only get at this quick-service location. You can even use mobile order to get all the new bites on the way.

With flavors and ingredients coming right out of New Orleans, this new spot is going to be the place to be on your next visit to Disneyland Resort.

So, should we dig a little deeper and find out what our taste buds need on the Tiana’s Palace menu? I think so!

If you love gumbo, you’re in for a treat because this spot will feature a couple different options for you to try. The 7 Greens Gumbo is a must-try plant-based option. It features white beans, okra, yams, sweet potatoes, and heirloom rice. You can also feast upon the 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage if you’re wanting something a little extra. And of course, we’ve got the House Gumbo. This dish is a New Orleans staple combining braised chicken, andouille sausage, and heirloom rice into a mouthwatering delight that’ll leave you coming back for more.

For those wanting a little extra spice from down in New Orleans, the Cajun Spice Half Chicken is the dish for you. The chicken is brushed with a house-made chicory BBQ sauce and served with baked macaroni and cheese & coleslaw. What a combo!

Are handhelds your meal of choice? Tiana’s got you covered too – don’t you worry. The Muffuletta Sandwich stacks mortadella, salami, rosemary ham, cheddar, provolone and house-made olive relish on toasted New Orleans sesame seed bread. Another staple, the Beef Po-boy Sandwich features some slow-cooked beef perfectly coated with gravy and fully dressed with shredded lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise atop toasted New Orleans French bread. Both tasty bites are served alongside red beans and rice and house-made pickles.

Do you love shrimp? Do you love grits? What about shrimp and grits? Well, it’s your lucky day because Tiana is also serving up the Gulf Shrimp and Grits for you. Grilled to perfection and tossed in a Creole sauce, the shrimp are then paired with cheesy grits to form a classic dish that will transport you down the bayou with each bite.

If you want a little something extra to add to your meal, the chefs have put together a lovely array of classic sides, like the Buttermilk Cornbread, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Red Beans & Heirloom Rice, Coleslaw, Cheesy Grits, and plant-based Heirloom Rice.

For the little ones, there are also some kid meals they’ll love. The Roasted Chicken Drumstick is served with a sweet BBQ sauce and heirloom rice, while the Toasted Ham & Cheese Sandwich is topped with savory ham and provolone. Also, a classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese is on the menu for the kids too! All three of these are accompanied by a Cuties Mandarin Orange and applesauce with choice of DASANI Water or small low-fat milk.

Now onto the star of the show … No restaurant inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog” could be complete without beignets, and at Tiana’s Palace, dessert is always first. But these delights aren’t your average beignets – oh, no. The House-filled Beignet features a delicious lemon icebox pie filling topped with lemon glaze for the perfect bite.

A specialty sip is also on the menu. The Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew topped with sweet cream is a must for those coffee lovers out there. The Ray Firefly Glow Cube* is also available with the purchase of a beverage. This adorable addition will light up your drink just like Evangeline lights up the night sky.

Last but certainly not least, if you want to take home a piece of Tiana’s Palace with you, the Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic Set** is for you. And it even comes with a House-filled Beignet for you to sink your teeth into.

Wow – what a tasty lineup the chefs have created! I can’t wait to get a taste of New Orleans right in Disneyland park. With exciting new openings like Tiana’s Palace, there’s no limit to the foodie fun to be had at Disney Parks.

  • I wish they had gluten free beignet like wdw!

  • I was so disappointed in our food.

The beignet was horrible. It was chewy and there was no filling. Every one they were serving was missing filling. Several people brought them back and the ones they replaced them with still had no filling. The only filling was on the plate, like a little garnish and it tasted like lighter fluid. It was a clear yellow, not the creamy color shown in the photos.

My gumbo was just ok, I am unsure why they added chopped sausage and sliced sausage? would have prefered to have shrimp instead. The spice was high enough that most people would end up not being able to eat it. No warnings on the menu.

The Muffuletta was blah, and something about the cheese made it unpalatable. The rice and beans had what appears to be hot-dogs in it. Nowhere on any menu did it say the rice and beans had meat in them. Not something you expect in a rice dish 🙁

The corn bread was so dense it was impossible to eat without choking. We had to break it up into crumbs in the gumbo.

Someone needs to audit the food quality, or if this is the expected result, you got it wrong. Perhaps you need to hire a Creole chef, or maybe someone who actually has grown up in the area that knows what the food should look and taste like.

How can you mess up cornbread Disney?

    You need to do better.

  • I’m from New Orleans and I can promise you our food does not look like this. This was an idea I had since 2012 and I didn’t imagine the food looking the way it does. Please get a native to help with some ideas for the menu. I have a lot of them and I can promise it would be worth it.

  • I’m looking forward to trying these tasty treats! Can we add back regular beignets to the list? I understand that you can’t satisfy everyone, but keeping one classic item from the old menu is a great way to appease the masses.

  • It does look good. My favorite place to eat is and always will be Plaza Inn with their fried chicken (I seem to recall French Market also selling fried chicken when I was a little girl, but that was a long time ago so I could be mistaken). However, this is definitely worth a try and I am drooling over those Beignets.

  • Very disappointed there are no Gluten Free beignets. The whole GF community was really hoping. There are so many tasty treats around Disneyland but very few for those of us who can’t eat gluten. If WDW can have both GF beignets and GF churros why can Disneyland do at least one of them. We were all really hoping Tiana’s would make a space to make them. I am grateful for the GF food options, so thank you for that.

  • Looks good. Need to remove the Coleslaw this is not a southern or Louisiana side, add fried catfish for sure! Cheddar cheese on the kids ham and cheese may be more inline with kids than the current version of the sandwich

  • Please bring back the Jambalaya!!!
It was the my favorite dish at the parks!

  • Yuk! They destroy every place we love to eat. Vegetables??? Slaw is not a side of steamed veggies. Where’s the fish? Seafood is not fish.

  • Okay love the whole menu! Now my question is since I read in between the lines… Will it be reservations only or mobile order like French Market?

  • I’m so excited to eat here!! Not sure why the Debbie downers are complaining about it not having the same things as the French market, it’s NOT the French market. Out with the old in with the new!!

  • Mickeu beignets will still be available st the walk up window around the corner like they always have, no worries yall. I’m excited for all these new items. Love shrimp and grits and the chicken and handheld sound amazing. Baked mac n cheese is a favorite too. Lemon filled beignet is definitely on my list for dessert.

  • Like many others am disappointed, we loved eating here! New menu items are always a welcome treat, but where is the MICKEY beignet? Will they still serve Mickeys at the Royal Street Veranda and Mint Juleps? French Market was always a go to and they had seasonal treats too! Kinda sad Disneyland chefs 🙁

  • This looks amazing! I can’t wait to try it all! 😋

  • Looks amazing!

  • Yes. I was disappointed when they cloaed, but hopeful that since it would be a cajun themed restaurant. The jambalaya would return. So im BEYOND upset that the jambalaya is gone. It was so good.

  • One plant based option? That’s truly unfortunate. Please consider ALL your guests. You have made some amazingly delicious plant based options. Bring us more, pleeeease!?

  • This looks amazing and I can’t wait for it to open again.

  • Ally: So true!
Lloyd: You’ll have to stick to Jazz Kitchen Express. We always do. I just haven’t had theirs since the change in the restaurant.

  • Looks like a great addition to the Park for casual dining. Hope they add a few more seafood options! Can’t wait to visit Tiana and the gang!

  • Looks down home delicious! We can’t wait to try the dishes. We were hoping for catfish and a few healthier items, but we will be there ready to dine at Tiana’s!

  • I wish they’d bring back the Nightmare before Christmas inspired dishes. Like “Zero’s Bowl ‘O Bones” (Ribs and drumsticks served over fries in a dog-bowl).

I do like some of the items shown here though, can’t wait to try them out.

  • I don’t see this restaurant as being a hit. The menu items don’t feel very Disney, regardless of the venue. Do not have any desire to eat there. Hopefully it does well.

  • The lack of plant-based options so far is very disappointing. I was very excited at the possibility of a plant-based beignet, but shocked to see that there isn’t a single plant-based dessert option and only one side. It’s so easy to make menu items plant-based, and Disney always fails to provide these options when they have a very large audience that would purchase it!

  • Very disappointed. This was my favorite place to eat at Disneyland and they got rid of my favorite dish. Not surprising though as Disney likes to get rid of all the good food at the parks.

  • Looks good, but it’s missing a jambalaya. I’m guessing that they figure it’s at Cafe Orleans already, but I hope they consider it in the future. And as nice as the House-filled Beignet looks, I suspect it’ll be too nice for my grandchildren. I hope they have simpler beignets as well.

Still, it’ll definitely be on my must do list for my next visit.
