Pass the gravy and the basketball! First round matchups have been announced for the 2023 ESPN Events Invitational taking place Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 23-26 at Walt Disney World Resort.

The men’s college basketball tournament features top-notch matchups, starting with four quality games on Thanksgiving Day: Penn State vs Texas A&M, Florida Atlantic vs Butler, Iowa State vs Virginia Commonwealth and Boise State vs Virginia Tech. Six of the teams in this year’s field played in the 2023 NCAA Tournament including FAU which made it all the way to the Final Four for the first time in the school’s history.

A win on Thanksgiving will put teams on track for the semifinals on Black Friday (Nov. 24) and the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 26. All games will be played at the 5,000-seat State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

If you haven’t checked out this tournament, it’s a unique basketball experience and a great way to start a new Thanksgiving tradition for your family. The holidays are among the best times to visit Walt Disney World and adding a little hoops to your Thanksgiving menu would make it even more magical.

Tickets are now available, including single-session tickets and All-Tournament tickets which get you into every game. And I’ll let you in on a little secret – if you buy now, you can get a $15 discount using the promo code “MAGIC” through Friday, August 11. Could be a great holiday gift for someone on your list. Additional single-session tickets will go on sale on October 2. More information can be found at ESPNEvents.com.

In the tournament’s 17-year history, some of the best teams in college basketball have posed for a photo with Mickey Mouse while lifting the ESPN Events Invitational trophy, including Gonzaga, Kansas, Florida State, Villanova and last year’s champion, Oklahoma.

If you want to be part of the action, get your tickets now and get ready for an incredible Thanksgiving weekend at Walt Disney World Resort!
