1. Disney’s “Haunted Mansion”

In Disney’s “Haunted Mansion”, a woman and her son move to New Orleans looking for a fresh start. They quickly realize they are not the only residents inside. Naturally, they recruit so-called “spiritual experts” to find out the secrets behind their supernatural haunts and put an end to it all.

Tucked away in the trees sits an old and deserted mansion waiting for YOU to step inside. Beware to all who enter … as it may not be as empty as it seems. This is a home to 999 happy haunts and there is room for just one more. If you don’t believe me, why don’t you see for yourself?

Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park, at Walt Disney World

The Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park, at Walt Disney World, is eagerly waiting for your arrival to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The supernatural tenants have informed me that Madame Carlotta and the Butler have been preparing the graveyard just for you. Before you step through the front door, I should warn you, it may change the course of your entire life.

At Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, beware of hitchhiking ghosts! Spirits will be walking the land free from the mansion during Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade. Keep your eyes open for grave diggers, tombstones, and waltzing ghosts! Watch out for Constance Hatchaway, the ghostly bride, as she leads the way looking for her next victim …

For our special guests attending the sold out Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland Resort, you can see Constance and the hitchhiking ghosts float down the “Frightfully Fun Parade!”

2. “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”

Bored with the scaring routine, Jack Skellington sets out on a journey to find something new for Halloween Town. Little does he know … there is an interesting world waiting for him, where nightmares can’t be found. The Pumpkin King discovers that Christmas joy was just the thing he was missing. In a mission to spread this feeling, he replaces Santa and creates a nightmare for boys and girls everywhere.

Everybody SCREAM! Jack and Sally are dying to meet you in New Orleans Square in Disneyland park at the Disneyland Resort. Over at Walt Disney World, you may also see them at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You can even spot Jack hosting Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show at Cinderella Castle.

What’s this? I can’t believe my eyes. Foolish mortals can now enter the Town of Halloween as Jack Skellington and his friends wreck the halls of the Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland park. Take a ride through the famous graveyard, view the glowing presents and watch Jack take on Christmas.

“Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular at Disneyland park

But that’s not all. Jack Skellington and his ghostly dog Zero kick off the “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular at Disneyland park. Watch him summon supernatural projections and a medley of Halloween music on Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, Rivers of America and in front of “it’s a small world,” with fireworks on select nights.

3. Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” and “Hocus Pocus 2”

After being accidentally conjured by teenage kids, three wild witches return from 17th century Salem to reclaim their youth and take revenge on the town. In Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” and “Hocus Pocus 2,” follow the Sanderson Sisters around town, as they attempt to capture the youth before the sun rises.

Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to dance away the night on Main Street, U.S.A. Winifred, Sarah and Mary take the stage during the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular to put a spell on you at Walt Disney World Resort!

Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow as the Sanderson Sisters at Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World during Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade

However, those won’t be the only witches walking around the park. Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow knew exactly who they wanted to be this year. Catch the fabulous trio in disguise as the Sanderson Sisters during Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade. You may even catch them strolling around Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, a separately ticketed event at Disney California Adventure park.

4. Disney’s “Cruella”

Who is black and white, with red all over? That’s right… Cruella de Vil. Travel with me, back in time, to London in the 1970s. Watch the notoriously fashionable villain transform from a scrappy thief to the revenge-bent Cruella de Vil. Here, Disney’s “Cruella” reveals the backstory of how my favorite villain embraces her wicked side.

Did you know you can talk to the fashion diva herself? You can find her making quite the impact on stage at Oogie Boogie Bash. Watch Cruella claim the throne while creating her next stunning clothing line. Be careful! She may even comment on your sense of style…if that doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will.

Cruella at Walt Disney World in Magic Kingdom Park at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

As we all might know, Cruella loves a dramatic entrance. You can catch her at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party making the most fabulous entrance of all. During Mickey’s “Boo to You” Halloween Parade, she steals the show as she drives by the crowd.

5. Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”

Once upon a time, there was a powerful fey named Maleficent. When people see her, they run screaming in fear. We know her story, but we forget she has a heart. We soon find out that she is not the one we need to run from. (I have a sweet spot for Maleficent if you couldn’t tell.) In “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” enter a story where Maleficent brings peace to the two worlds.

If you are wondering how you can witness her powers yourself, just attend Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade. Watch Maleficent as she casts a spell, cursing you all, during her wicked entrance into the park. In my opinion, she is the most powerful of villains.

If you are looking to add a little spark to your day, you can meet Maleficent in Tomorrowland before the “Disney Villains Dance Party” during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.

6. “Halloweentown”

Did you know there is a magical town where exotic creatures roam the streets? Marnie and her younger siblings follow their spiritual grandmother home to Halloweentown. This town is home to hundreds of residents (like monsters, goblins, and ghosts), but an evil force threatens the town and everything good about it. Help Marnie, Dylan, and Sophie discover the real story behind Halloweentown.

Mickey Pumpkin at Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

If you have always wanted to go to visit a place that celebrates the Halloween season as much as the residents at Halloweentown do, now is your chance! Hop on the flying bus and make your way to Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. The Main Street Pumpkin Festival glows up the street where pumpkins shaped like your favorite characters – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto – are waiting just for you! Find them glowing above the entry turnstiles to Disneyland park. There is even a giant Mickey pumpkin in the heart of Main Street, U.S.A. lighting the way.

7. Disney’s “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad”

Disney’s “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” on Disney Plus

“The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” shares two classics filled with adventure around every corner.

The village of Terrytown is a peaceful place, but it comes with haunted spots and superstitions. Some believe a schoolmaster’s lanky spirit, still haunts the town today. In “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad,” Ichabod mysteriously disappears, leaving nothing but a hat. Where do you think he went off to?

The Headless Horseman, Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World

Have you heard the rumors? Come close and I’ll tell you…. There have been whispers of a flickering jack-o-lantern who walks the streets at night. Others have heard a horse gallop into town after the sun goes down.

To gather proof that this is indeed the Headless Horseman, you must go to Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Clippity-Clop… Clippity-Clop…. Do you hear that? It must be the Headless Horseman walking down Main Street, U.S.A. Watch your head! You may also spot a statue of the Headless Horseman riding along Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure park, and visitors attending Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party can watch as he leads the “Frightfully Fun Parade,” carrying a flickering jack-o-lantern in his gloved hand.
