Joshua Sudock
Disneyland Resort Photographer
Hi there! I’m Joshua, the official photographer at Disneyland Resort. My Disneyland career began in summer 1998 as a Submarine Voyage captain. Later, I found myself pun-tificating along exotic back waterways of the world as a Jungle Cruise skipper; shuttled families between Downtown Disney District and Tomorrowland as a Disneyland Monorail pilot; delivered that devilishly clever “dead center of the room” pun as a Haunted Mansion host; sent guests on thrilling bobsled rides down the icy slopes of the Matterhorn; woke José, the parrot, at “Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room”; celebrated our similarities at “it’s a small world”; and accomplished a childhood goal of shouting “All aboard!” as a conductor on the Disneyland Railroad.
After 13 years working as a photojournalist and breaking news reporter in major metropolitan markets, I returned to Disneyland Resort in 2017. Now, I spend the days blending my passions for photojournalism and the Disney brand as the resort’s chief visual documentarian. It’s my sincere hope that the work I do creates joy and inspires you to think about how you document your Disney memories.
