Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is lurking around the corner, and today you can book an experience that is unique to this spooky time of year. Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour takes you on a journey throughout the Disneyland Resort for a night of chilling tales, eerie sights and Halloween treats! Your mysterious “Ghost Host” will take you on an adventure as you track the mischievous Disney Villains, experience thrilling attractions and discover that the fate of the Disneyland Resort in your hands!
Here are some things you should know about the Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour:
- Tour is offered each night from September 14 through October 31.
- The tour is approximately three hours long.
- Theme park admission for Disneyland park is required to attend the tour.
- Attractions and entertainment are subject to change without notice. Some tour attractions have a 42-inch height requirement and physical considerations.
- Each tour guest will receive a collectible souvenir pin and a tasty treat.
For even more Halloween fun, be sure to ask about the “Ultimate Experience”! On select nights, you can combine Disney’s Happiest Haunts Tour with the trick-or-treating fun of Mickey’s Halloween Party. The “Ultimate Experience” is available on September 28 and October 2, 5, 9, 12, 15, 19, 23, 26, 29 and 31.

There is a discount for the ultimate experience!
You get way more “stuff” at Disney World, so don’t worry about it! Your Halloween party started earlier and has experiences that we don’t have!!
Why does Disneyland get all the great stuff first? Shouldn’t both Disneyland and Disneyworld get all the same holiday themed events together?

Registered for the “Ultimate experience” on October 5th. Very excited! I was a little surprised there was no discount for annual pass or Disney Visa holders for the ultimate experience.

Is this tour appropriate for little ones? Will be there on 9/21 with daughter and her 4 & 6 year old kids.
Will the “Ultimate Experience” include anything like reserved seating for the fireworks?
Does this mean the tour will not be going to DCA as well like the years before?

It was amazing when I went with my wife in 2010. If i could get out there, I would do the tour in a heart beat again!
My “tween-age” daughter and I are booked for this the first week of Halloween time while my son and Daddy take in an Angels game. So looking forward to spending this time together …just the girls having fun! Can’t put a price on that! (But the CAA discount was nice! Thanks! )
I went on this Happiest Haunts tour last year and the best time. Out Guide Holly was amazing as she also had the added pleasure of working around an attraction that decided not to co-operate. Would recommend it to anybody.
Is this the same Halloween tour they have offered the last few years? We went on the tour 3 years ago and really enjoyed it but was curious if this was a new tour.
Brian – The tour went through an update last year, and now it takes you on a hunt to track down Disney Villains who are causing trouble throughout the resort. Plus, this year it will include more attractions as well as a special treat on Buena Vista Street. You should check it out!
