In two weeks, “The Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition” will open in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure park, giving guests an up-close look at the world of “Frankenweenie” through sets, puppets, props and more – plus, guests will be able to view a special 4D extended sneak peek of the film. Today, I’ve got more “Frankenweenie” news for you!

From August 23 – October 7, you can enter the “Frankenweenie Monstrous Sweepstakes” for the chance to win a four-day/three-night vacation for four to experience all the fun of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Here’s how to enter:

  • My husband gets the “communications error” on his desktop. On the laptop, my screen goes black after I enter my username and password. We are using OSX and Safari, but we got the same black screen in IE, too. So neither of us knows if our entries are being received.
    I did contact Help & Guest Services twice, but have not received an answer. Erin, can you ask someone to look into this? Thank you!

  • Each time I try to enter on the computer it says there has been “a communications error”.

  • Texted Alive to Disney. No problems.

  • I’m sure not having much luck with this sweepstakes, after 2 days of trying. Texting FRANKENWEENIE doesn’t work, ALIVE of course was not it, and trying to enter through the Web page gets me a “There has been a communications error. Please try again.” after I put in my account and password. The last might be a Mac thing–Disney web pages are not very cross-platform friendly–but I’m getting frustrated about missing some chances at the trip to Disneyland!

  • I tried to enter August 30 on the website and when I log in I am given a Communications Error message, please try again later.

  • Not only could I not get the text of “ALIVE” to work, but every time I click on the “Enter Now” button on the website – the screen goes black and nothing comes up except for the music. AARGH this is becoming a true tribute to Tim Burton’s work. It is rapidly becoming a “Nightmare Before Frankenweenie”! 😉

  • If you go to the sweepstakes website it says to text FRANKENWEENIE. I know I texted ALIVE 3x.
