Beat the drums and start chanting now, because today is the day Tiki fans! Tickets for the Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room 50th Anniversary Merchandise Event, taking place June 28–29, go on sale today!

A few weeks ago I gave you a bird’s eye view on the upcoming event, including ticket prices, event packages, a sneak peek at event product and more.

Here are a few other fun activities scheduled for the event:

  • Memories of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room with Disney Legends Rolly Crump and Bob Gurr
  • Merchandise artist signings with Disney Design Group artists, Alex Maher and Mike Sullivan, as well as Disney-inspired artists Dave Avanzino, Jody Daily, Jeremy Fulton, Doug Horne, Katie Kelly, Kevin Kidney, Noah, Robert Olszewski, SHAG, Javier Soto and Yakovetic
  • Product showcases

Here’s one last peek at another one of my favorite pieces debuting as part of the event:

  • Is this event sold out?

  • What a collection of amazing art for one of my favorite places! It’s my 50th anniversary too! Wahooooooo!

  • Hello All-
I am going to WDW in August and would love to have the Tiki shirt by Shag. Where can I find it on line?

  • Hi – I have 2 questions: 1. Will all of the open edition items be available for purchase at the event? and 2. Will those items be available in the park on the weekend of June 29th?

  • For items that are listed as open editions – will those items be available for purchase at the parks or through Merchandise Guest Services after the event? If so, when are the expected to go on sale?

  • I’m in! Got my ticket to both events when they went on sale! 84 days

  • Camille – The catalogue is now online and much of the merchandise is Open Edition. I would expect to see them in the Adventureland shops within weeks after the event.

    • Thanks for your help Michael.

@Camille, I would recommend contacting Disney Merchandise Guest Services at 877-560-6477 the Monday following the event to inquire about remaining merchandise items. In the days and weeks after the event, remaining product will be distributed to locations throughout the Resort, but most likely art and collectible specific locations. Hope that helps.

Another note, the image shown above by Jeremy Fulton was updated earlier today, as this is the final image. Please note the catalog currently displays the concept art for this piece.

  • Yeah! Thanks Michelle! 😉

  • Will any of the items be available online for those of us who are unable to attend and/or live elsewhere?
