Let the Journey to Imagination Begin with ‘Mickey and the Magical Map’ at Disneyland Park

posted on May 23rd, 2013 by Shawn Slater, Communications Manager, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Creative Entertainment

It’s almost showtime! “Mickey and the Magical Map” opens this Saturday, May 25, at Disneyland park. Here’s a look at the nearly two-year-long journey the Creative Entertainment team has undertaken to bring the show from concept to reality, along with a glimpse of the amazing, musical “Journey to Imagination” you’ll go on with Mickey Mouse when you take a seat in the newly refurbished Fantasyland Theatre. The premiere is just around the corner, so we hope to “see ya real soon!”

OMG! Saw it Sunday and it was amazing. So glad to see some underutilized Princesses and from the applause so was the rest of the audience. King Louie stole the show. The way Mickey interacted with the map was….you guys really out did yourselves. Would have like to have seen Stitch on his number but his absents didn’t take away from the performance. So glad to have a show back at the Fantasyland Theater.

Saw this on Sunday as well, and it was a fantastic show. The performers did a wonderful job and the sets were creative as well. Mickey stole the show though!
