‘Coolest Summer Ever’ Commemorative Shirt Coming to Magic Kingdom Park for 24-Hour Party

I can’t wait to kick-off the “Coolest Summer Ever” in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort! This 24-hour party starts 6 a.m. Friday, May 22, and runs until 6 a.m. Saturday, May 23. I already have a “hip” costume to “Snow My Disney Side” during the event. For guests who want to stay cool during the party, we are releasing a commemorative T-shirt featuring the host of the party, Olaf from Disney’s “Frozen.”

This year’s shirt will contain ink that changes color when exposed to sunlight.

The shirt will be found in Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park. We will also offer it online from May 22-31 at DisneyStore.com/ParkEvents.

  • I wasn’t able to get a shirt while we were in the park because they were all sold out, (we got to the park after midnight) does anyone know if we are able to purchase anywhere online?

  • I am so excited for tomorrow! Any idea if there are any special shows or events happening at midnight? I remember last year for the Hero vs villains there was a special parade and then there were Dj’s through out the park…Anything like that going on this year? Either way its going to be a blast! 🙂

  • This shirt looks SO much fun! I love the color changing ink effect. The collector side of me must ask, should we expect a pin release for this day as well? I saw in a previous post that DLR would be getting one so was curious if WDW would be getting one too. Thanks for all of the updates! SO excited for Friday!

    • @Kayla – There will not be a pin for this year’s event at Magic Kingdom in Florida.

  • This is going to be a surprise for my granddaughter. Can’t wait to see her face when Friday comes. Too bad she is in school until 3. I am giving her a different clue each day – see how long it takes her to figure it out! Besides, Wednesday is her birthday. I may have to break down and tell her!!

  • I’m hoping the cupcake tastes like a mixture of Aurora Borealis, Icelandic snow, and shimering pixie dust. A girl can dream. Cute shirt and cute cupcake, but I’m on the lookout for the same 24-hour pin that Disneyland is offering. Fingers are crossed!

    • @Erin – If you close your eyes when eating it, you may find it tastes exactly how you described. Ha!
