UPDATE: This event has reached capacity and confirmation emails are being sent. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for future opportunities!

Disney Parks Blog readers have been anxiously following the details we’ve shared about the three nighttime spectaculars coming for the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, the “Paint the Night” parade, “Disneyland Forever” fireworks and “World of Color – Celebrate!” Today, I’m excited to invite you to attend a premiere performance.

New 'Paint the Night' Parade Coming to Disneyland Park New 'Paint the Night' Parade Coming to Disneyland Park New 'Paint the Night' Parade Coming to Disneyland Park

The premiere performances of these shows will be held on two separate nights and are two separate events. First, on May 20, we invite you to join us at Disney California Adventure park for the premiere of “World of Color – Celebrate!” The following evening, on May 21, readers are invited to join the premiere of both “Paint the Night” parade and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks. Each night requires a separate registration. You may register for both events as space permits.

Please read carefully. Below are two different registration links for the two different dates:

  • May 20, 2015: Sign up here for the premiere of “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” at Disney California park. Check-in begins at 7 p.m.
  • May 21, 2015: Sign up here for the premiere of “Paint the Night” parade and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks at Disneyland park. Check-in begins at 8 p.m.

Space for both events is limited. Please remember the following:

  • All participants who sign up for an event must be 18 years or older, but guests of the participants may be younger than 18.
  • Limit one guest per registrant.
  • Event confirmations are non-transferrable and have no cash value.
  • Confirmation will be for the accepted registered person plus one guest.
  • Valid photo I.D. will be required at check-in.
  • Participants will be responsible for any parking fees.

I will give an update at the top of this post when capacity has been reached for one or both events. Please note the events are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

  • Hi Erin,

I was able to get into the Event on the 21st. I inadvertently transposed to letters on my e-mail so naturally I didn’t get the e-mail confirmation. I have a registration # and the letter of acceptance. I’m hoping I can reach you here. Help! How do I get the confirmation e-mail?

  • You can read it every morning , every night and any other time, still only have a One in a million chance. I would rather these events were not even post
ed anymore since the majority of people just get to see another event they missed out on

  • …another, “snooze, ya lose”, for this Blog reader…just so much wonderful stuff happening at the Original Magic Kingdom…one needs to read the Blog every morning/night, so as NOT to miss out on anything.

Thanks for all the opportunities to participate in the MAGIC!

Congrats to everyone who is attending!

  • Erin, we will be at Disneyland the 20th-23rd. Does that mean we will not be able to see these new shows since the registration is closed? As out of state annual pass holders, we miss out on so much!

  • Sad I missed registration. My birthday is the 21st.

  • bummer I was at work when this went live. I wish they would have had some ap events so we could have a shot at this. it might have helped with the crowds if the ap holders had a couple of preview events. not to mention the chatter and buzz we would generate (not that you folks need it lol)

  • Congrats! Seems like an awesome event!

  • To those that missed out, keep in mind there’s over a million Annual Passholders so your chances are always going to be slim, especially if you’re at work :-Þ

While it would have been awesome I’ll be there that weekend to take it in 😀

  • Once again, another Disney Parks Blog Event at Disneyland that reaches capacity in less than 1-2 minutes. Was there a limit of only 100-200 people? They could of filled up most of Main Street for the “Paint the Night” parade & “Disenyland Forever” fireworks, and filled up all of Paradise Pier for “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney.” These were two seperate events Erin, how could this go so fast, unless the space was very limited? Again, not fair at all.

  • I must have been living right, or half right. I got in for the World of Color, but too late for the Disneyland event. Since I’ll be there for the merchandise event, this will be perfect.

  • Seems like before opening a event invite this , you should inform your IT team. Because link didn’t work and when you finally got it up it said event’s full. / – 🙂 that disney magic for you

  • I GOT IN!! I follow Disney Parks on Twitter, and they linked to the blog post right when it was posted. I made the decision to try for Paint the Night first and was confirmed. I did not make it into the World of Color showing, so yes to those asking, it just has to be how fast you are. I’ve missed out on plenty of other events in the past, but your time will come! And THANK YOU Disney Parks and Disney Parks Blogs for this amazing opportunity!!

  • I had trouble sending my email when it posted. Is there any way to get on the list for the Disneyland preview? I am going to be at the resort for the Merchandising Event and was hoping to go. It would just be for myself.

  • This is awesome! So bummed to have missed out on the registration but I hope everyone has a wonderful time! Can’t wait to get my chance to see all the new experiences, the Diamond Celebration is going to be “dazzling”!

  • Hi Erin,

I submitted the form within a minute of this posting and it just kept loading then I got an error screen. When I refreshed it, I attempted again and got the same issue. Once I did it a third time, it wouldnt let me enter anything at all. Then I refreshed the page and it said registration closed. Any way there is a wait list or anything??

  • Is there going to be a WDW meetup for the Coolest Summer Ever event?

  • Did it really close already? Was it ever open?

  • Bummer!!! Already no more people excepted!!! That was quick!!!

  • It filled up in two minutes??? And I’m going to be there for the merchandise event….so bummed…..

  • will there be more chances to get a opportunity to see this early??

  • Everytime I try to register it says capacity is met. Has it been met on both? I keep trying but it doesn’t work.

  • Awe registration already full 🙁

  • Are both nights already full? The links are both saying event registration closed. I’m thankful these events are offered but the limited capacity of 100 people means it’s already closed in less than 10 minutes 🙁

  • Just missed it. Filled in all information, then it said closed. Who can type so fast?

  • Hi Erin, this was not even posted for a full min and its full? or is it a techincal error on the website?

  • Never mind its all gone all ready

  • I do not see the link

  • Does this event require valid park admission?

    • These are after-hours events, so park admission will not be needed. We will escort all guests into and out of each event.
