  • Please note, swizzle sticks are not included. Went to Monday, 5 pm and had a nice time. I notice afterwards that the swizzle stick was missing. I even called in and they said that was not part of the swag :(. The mug and art work was awesome. Both artist was there to sign.

And yes you can wear Hawaiian wear. Many ppl did and it made it extra festive.

As for food, there was pork sliders, coconut shrimp and veggie cones. There was also coffee and mini coconut cupcakes The staff was very nice and accommodating. Would do this again even without the swizzle stick.

  • …..are shorts and Hawaiian shirts allowed???

  • What is the dress code???

  • @Benjamin – Here’s my thoughts based on prior experiences and assumptions:

Trader Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace will be be operating normally and separately from the event. The drinks at the event will be limited (coupons will be for wine, beer, non-alcoholic options, and the Diamong Luau drink which I think is Tahitian Terrace Punch + rum). You should be able to leave w/re-entry as they’ll give us wristbands for the event. I doubt they’d be happy with you leaving to get a drink at Sam’s and then return – also defeats the purpose of the event festivities.

As of writing this, Mon 10th at 7 is available and Tues 11th at 7.

  • I guess I’ll answer some of my own questions: I’ve read through other “non-official” sources that all showings of this event area sold out.

The dinner will include one vegan option (veggies..).

I still don’t know if the regular Trade Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace menus will be available or if the event will allow us to go in and out. I also don’t know the capacity of each showing.

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see when I get there since no one seems to be responding here.

  • Is this event already sold out for all performances?

Your link to reservations just leads to the Disneyland home page.

  • I already purchased a reservation for this event, is there a price listed for the extra mugs? Or, is the price available through the Disney Dining line? My party each wants to purchase one additional one so we have a set of two 🙂

  • Just got tickets for this today and am so excited! I’m taking my almost-3-year-old and didn’t have to pay anything for him. I called in and they were able to add a child to the reservation (you can’t do this online, at least at the moment).

  • What a neat event! How’s about a link to the menu?

  • So cool! So guests can purchase two mugs in addition to the one they get as part of the event?

  • This sounds like so much fun, but I do have a few questions:
    1) What is the capacity for each seating? How limited and exclusive will it be?
    2) Will the dinner menu include many vegan items for the price?
    3) Will the regular Trader Sam’s or Tangaroa Terrace be available?
    4) Will there be in and out privileges?

Thank you! I look forward to your response.

  • Very excited, looking forward to this and it looks like some feedback has been well-received from last year’s Mahaloween.
