Guests will join Disney Princesses for a “dream come true” weekend of majestic runs when the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals returns to Walt Disney World Resort from February 23-26, 2017. Today, I have a first look commemorative merchandise created especially for this annual runDisney event.

Runners participating in the Disney Princess Half Marathon will find apparel including short and long-sleeved shirts, jackets, tank tops, and running shorts. This year, elements from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” will be seen throughout the weekend through entertainment, race medals, and on select products (the roses found on race apparel is a nice nod to the Disney animated classic).
Similar products were also created for guests running the 19.3-mile Disney Glass Slipper Challenge. You’ll find a race jacket, a tank top, logo shirts and running pants.

Look for apparel and accessories for other races being held during the weekend including the Disney Princess 5K, Disney Princess Enchanted 10K, and runDisney Kids Races.
Other products include drinkware, a new commemorative shoe ornament inspired by the race weekend, and three Disney Princess-inspired handbags by Dooney & Bourke (a specially designed leather hangtag will be found on select silhouettes).
Finally, guests will find car magnets, Bondi Bands, and Sweaty Bands. The limited release Disney pins will include pins shaped like miniature replicas of the “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired race medals.
Look for these commemorative items and more during runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. All guests are invited to attend the Expo during the following dates and times:
- Thursday, February 23 – 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Friday, February 24 – 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, February 25 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

When do preorders start and typically how much do the pre-sell commemorative items cost? Particularly the 5K Bundle and race weekend jacket? Thanks!!!

Hi! I signed up for the Glass Slipper Challenge but only ended up buying 10k as I was gonna chicken out of the 1/2. Well I gave it a go and FINISHED. Now I regret not getting the 1/2 pin and the Glass slipper shirt and 1/2 shirt. Will they be available anywhere? 🙁

Can I still purchase the Disney princess running ornament?
I tried to purchase the 5k race shirt with the map on the back and every time I went to the expo they were sold out. Does anyone know if Disney sells them online after the races or at another place?
Sizing for pre-order jackets is very inaccurate. To be told we could not return something the that doesn’t fit was a huge disappointment for this first-timer.

I’m at Disneyland all the time. Will any of this be available there? Or online anywhere? No way for me to get to Florida and I would love to own a lot of the Beauty and the Beast merchandise!
Agreed about limits on quantity to purchase. Or at least only allow bib holders first 2 days. The merchandise is soooo darn cute that I understand why the eBay sells buy it all up! Even an option to buy online is great. We just want a chance to spend our pennies too. 🙂 You guys did another fantasic job from what I can tell from the pictures, heading to the expo now!!
Are there limits on the amount of an item you purchase? I saw someone with about 50 ornaments in her basket and was wondering if that is allowed or fair.

These items are only available for purchase at the Expo , correct?

@Yadira – There is a TERVIS wine goblet along with a Hurricane glass and another wine glass. I will need to check with the events team regarding pricing.

@Christina – The pre-sell jacket is not shown in this article. The sneaker ornament is the pre-sell bundle ornament but The TERVIS shown is not the pre-sell item.

@Katie – From my understanding, the shirts in the image are retail items. I don’t recall seeing the registration shirts.
Just wanted to double check. Preordered my Dooney and Bourke and paid in advance. Where do I pick that up…at the dooney and bourke location or the preordered area next to it on the second level? I’m doing race retreat so i’ll be able to get in there early to pick up stuff.
Based on my experience with previous runDisney events, the shirts run $30-$40, hoodies $60-$80. Pins are $15. If you are an AP, you can use your discount for this merch.
