Have you seen “Wreck-It Ralph” yet? My little boys loved the movie…and so did I! I’ve been twice already and can’t get enough. Of course, you can also get your “Wreck-It Ralph” fix, beyond repeated screenings in theaters in 3D, with a visit to Disneyland park. At the Starcade in Tomorrowland, you’ll find Ralph’s “classic” arcade game “Fix-It Felix, Jr.” on free play, and you can even meet Ralph and Vanellope! Here’s a look at the fun:

  • Will Ralph and Vanellope be out during certain times at the Starcade or throughout the day?

I’m visiting Disneyland in 2 days for the first time ever and would LOVE to meet them both! 🙂

    • Danielle – Appearance times vary by the day, but they’re generally available between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Just check with a Cast Member or at the location on the day of your visit.

  • Oh! I forgot to mention, it was seriously my boyfriend’s dream come true when we got to play with the actual arcade cabinet. It really gives an added depth to the film and makes me feel like it’s a real thing.

Not to mention that it’s an actual fun and good game! He got up to level 7 and would have kept playing were it not for the line behind us XD haha, but thanks Disney! You make everything magical 🙂

    • The game IS pretty cool! I’m not great with video games, but even I enjoyed playing it. My wife and kids on the other hand… they killed it over several levels!

  • My boyfriend and I JUST did that two weeks ago! It was so much fun meeting Ralph and Vanellope. I have a story about that actually.

Tim (my boyfriend) and I had just walked off of Space Mountain and it was still early in the morning right after the park opened. As we were getting off the ride, we saw all those signs pointing and telling us Ralph was right around the corner. Sure enough, there he was, no line or anything!

We both got our pictures taken with him and we walked over to see Vanellope but there wasn’t any staff nearby to take the picture. Desperate, I held out the camera in front of all three of us so I could hopefully get a picture of all of us together. But Vanellope didn’t have any of that! She walked off and before I could stop her I yelled, “No wait! I can make this work!”

Low and behold though, she was simply getting a cast member to hold my camera and wagged her finger at me when she came back. We got our picture just fine in the end 😀

haha, thanks for sharing and I loved being able to meet them!

    • Jessica – Great story! I’m glad you had a good time.

  • I love Wreck-It Ralph! Its such a great, fun movie! Ralph and Vanellope are a great fit for the Starcade.

Although, to be honest, I wouldn’t mind if the Starcade (including the long closed upper level) were replaced with a brand new attraction.
