Bienvenue to our Guests at La Place de Rémy

La Place de Rémy, our first themed area based on the Academy Award-winning film “Ratatouille,” opened to guests at Disneyland Paris today — and the response has been fantastic.

Its anchor is L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, an attraction that shrinks you down to the size of a rat and whisks you away on an adventure over the rooftops of Paris and through Gusteau’s. The ride vehicles seem to have a mind of their own as they scurry through Gusteau’s kitchen and dining room, and ultimately deliver you in time for dinner at Bistrot Chez Rémy.

La Place de Rémy also celebrates one of the film’s biggest stars – Paris … the culture, the architecture, and the food. In addition to the innovative attraction, the area includes Bistrot Chez Rémy, a table-service restaurant where you can enjoy (of course) a bowl of ratatouille, among other menu options. Later this year, we’ll open Chez Marianne, a new boutique, named as an homage to the iconic symbol of the French Republic. We think you’ll agree that La Place de Rémy – which truly celebrates Paris and the great Disney/Pixar film – is a charming and fitting addition to Disneyland Paris.

  • Wow! It looks amazing. I really hope I can make it out to Paris to experience it sometime. Ratatouille is my favorite Pixar film. Is there any chance we will see this (or something similar) in other Disney parks?

    • We’re excited for our guests to experience L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy at Disneyland Paris. We don’t have it in the works for other locations at this point, but having seen how much people enjoy it already in Paris, that is certainly something we may look at down the road!

  • Looks really cool!

    Tom–
I really hope that new attractions are in development for Disneyland in California. 🙂

  • Hopefully some day we can get there and experience Paris and Disney together. Think we’ll have to put this on our “Disney Bucket List”.

  • Oh to test Gusteau’s notion that Anyone Can Cook at La Place de Rémy! #DisneyDreaming as always!

  • Everyone complains that there are not enough dark rides in World Showcase at Epcot. This would be an ideal addition for the France pavilion.

  • I really hope they keep adding new rides and attractions to Disney Studio Park, it has potential to be a great second park to the amazing Disneyland Paris.

  • July 10th is our wedding anniversary, so we will always remember the opening of this ride. We are headed to Disneyland Paris in August and can’t wait to experience this new ride! What a wonderful tribute to Paris in their hometown!

  • Bring this to Epcot 🙂
