Thanks to everyone who voted for their favorite Disneyland Resort memory from the 1950s … and today we continue with the 1960s! As we get ready for the upcoming Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, we’re looking for the most magical Disneyland Resort memories from the past six decades. We’ve narrowed down all the great photo submissions, and now we’re asking for your help to decide which will win!

This week, let’s look back at the top Disneyland Resort memories we received from the 1960s:

@r-g3nrQa5r: Enjoying Disneyland in the late 1960’s – a captured memory with Minnie!

FSM796452

@KrazyKevinWolff: My dad, uncles, & grammy at the ‪@Disneyland ‪#Matterhorn Bobsleds in the late ’60s.

FSM796453

@rOsRMEpzHS: My sister and I excited to hold Pinnochio’s hand at Disneyland in the 60s.

FSM796454

@q7xs4LofoF: Me and my Mom on burro (and horse?) ride in Frontierland, 1964. Maybe this is why I hate hats? 😉

FSM796455

@qopsCOPAn-: I love this picture of me and my brother and sisters , think this is around “1969” always loved this photo , look at my trendy haircut I’m on Mickeys left with the pin curl sideburns and sunglasses on my head “so cool” and talk about nostalgic Mickey Mouse ! Enjoy!

So, which is your favorite? Vote now!

Voting will remain open until 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 24. And be sure to check back Thursday, Sept. 25, when we’ll share the top five memories from the 1970s!

Each decade winner will receive a special Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration prize. Then, we’ll give you the chance to vote for one Grand Prize winner from among the winners of each decade. This lucky fan will win a trip to the start of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration in spring 2015.

  • When will we find out who the winners of the 1950s are?

Also, why are these twitter handles so weird looking?

  • It has to be the Pack Mules through Nature’s Wonderland picture! You can still see Minnie, Mickey, Pinocchio and the Matterhorn, but the pack mules are long gone and sorely missed. Good luck!

  • I voted for KrazyKevinWolff – killer hats dude! Oh, and qopsCOPAn, I don’t think you are really to Mickey’s left; I think you are to the left of Mickey …unless the photo was taken in a mirror!

  • Another great batch of Disneyland Memories !

  • Gosh I love the 60’s! I am also wondering why the IG/Twitter names are jumbled–it’s hard to distinguish one from the other. Also, is the voting working correctly?–the rules say, “…vote for the one Qualifier’s Entry they like best in each Voting Phase. Limit one vote per person per day. Subsequent votes during a calendar day by a single voter will be disqualified”, yet why do I get the message, “Thank you, we have ALREADY counted your vote” when I tried voting more than 24 hours since I last voted? 🙂

  • I loved all of the photos. It was hard to make a selection, but one photo jumped off the page at me and so I voted for it. Good luck to all the entrants!

  • I voted for qopsCOPAn – It shows the excited looks on all the kids faces and eyes. For me, the enjoyment of taking all my nephews, nieces, cousins, and my own daughter to Disneyland, over the last 35 years, was the excitement in their eyes and on their faces that always told the story of Walt Disney and his dream with Mickey Mouse!! I knew that same feeling as a child. There are a lot of rides that are no longer there and they remain a wonderful memory for all of us. But the site of Mickey greeting the kids is always a wonderful feeling and I feel Walt Disney wanted that for all children, young & old!

  • I love the smiling faces of delight around Mickey! Look at the respectful children trying to shake Mickey’s hand. Mickey is & was a positive role model.

  • hello It wont let us vote again after we hadnt voted for 24 hr or even 48 hrs, just letting you Disneyland not sure if theres an issue on your end , Thank You

  • I just found out about this. Is it too late to submit a photo for the 90s?
