  • Why is everyone so obsessed with alcohol? Also, Disney has not said one way or the other if Star Tours-The Adventures Continue is moving or closing. I’m curious to know where people are getting this information about the attraction’s fate?

  • @Tanya Osterman if you look at the map for Star Wars Land at Disneyland Star Tours is not going to be there and they are also going to get rid of Star Tours anyways. They might get the Iron Man Simulator like Tokyo Disneyland.

  • Will Star Tours Disneyland move to the new Star Wars land? Will Hyperspace Mountain stay that way from now on? These are the answers I’m looking for.

  • They serve alcohol at WDW. I got the rum version of the dole whip. And even got a beer at Gastens Tavern! I was just there a few weeks ago too.

  • Devin;
    Yes, but that is a private club, not accessible to most park-goers.

  • Club 33 at Disneyland has been serving alcohol for decades.

  • Actually (and unfortunately), the Magic Kingdom does have alcohol in it now. The “Be Our Guest” restaurant does serve alcohol. However, Gaston’s Tavern, located close to Be Our Guest, ironically, does not serve alcohol.

  • There is definitely alcohol at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

  • Can you please tell me when Star Wars Lamd and Toy Story Land are scheduled to open at Disney World? Thank you.

  • For those wondering about California;
    Alcohol is served at Disney California Adventure park, but not in Disneyland park. So I can’t imagine that changing anytime soon, even with a Star Wars cantina in Disneyland. Of course, I could turn out to be wrong…

    I am really excited for this new land!

  • When it will opens?

  • They don’t have alcohol at Magic Kingdom at WDW, but the other parks all have it–including Hollywood Studios, where the Star Wars expansion will be. I don’t know anything about the California park.

  • Sounds awesome!! Can’t wait for it to open

  • ^^Magic Kingdom in WDW has Liberty Tree Tavern, Gaston’s Tavern, and Tortuga Tavern, none of which serve alcohol. The cantina may not be any different.

  • I, too, am very excited for this. I haven’t seen last nights special, but I recorded it ETA on completion?

  • Does this mean Disneyland will finally start serving alcohol? A cantina wouldn’t make much sense otherwise…

  • I am so excited for this park to open. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a kid to step into this world. Even at 47 years old I still have my imagination. I will be there the day this park opens.
