Recently, I shared that an all-new character dining experience will be coming to Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk. Today, I’m excited to share guests who choose to enjoy the Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno will have the opportunity to meet beloved Disney characters including Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric.
Breakfast will begin with your choice of a mixed berry parfait or fresh fruit salad and a frying pan of pastries featuring braided breakfast bread and clam shell pastries.

Kids will enjoy their choice of a Mickey Pancake, Mickey Waffle or a “Little Royal Breakfast,” which will feature an egg, bacon and toast. Breakfast will also include your choice of non-alcoholic beverage such as coffee, tea juice, milk and soft drinks. Mimosas, a Peach Bellini, cappuccino, press pot coffee and more will be available as an additional charge.
The character dining experience will cost $34 for adults, $20 for children. Please note: Disney Characters join guests for breakfast only. Character appearances are subject to change.
Reservations are now open for dates beginning April 2, and can be made by visiting DisneyWorld.com/dining or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

How does one get there? and after you’re done, could you enter Epcot, which looks close on the map, through the World Showcase? Is there a entry that way? and are you allowed to walk through World Showcase before it officially opens?
Does anyone know if this dinning experience can be done Vegan? We have 2 Vegans,3 Vegetarians and 5 omnivores in our party. We may not all want to eat the same place but seeing if this would be an option.

We are staying at the Art of Animation Resort in November. What would be the best way to get to the Boardwalk for Breakfast? We will be driving down, so we will have our own vehicle – so driving ourselves will be an option; or of course there is always the bus transportation – but I feel like we would have to bus hop a couple of different times/locatons .. Suggestions/Advice?
So exited! We just heard about this character breakfast on a Disney blog and were able to book our first time choice for August 3rd using the My Experience app. We had reservations at Ohana, but my adult daughter doesn’t care for the food offerings there. Where else could we sit down, enjoy a table served meal, AND see Prince Eric and Flynn Rider (Eugene)? Sooooo thrilled!
How long does this breakfast last? I’m trying to plan for the rest of the day…

I have been checking for availability on the Disney app as often as I could and just snagged a reservation in April. Don’t give up!! Just check throughout the day when you can… you never know what availablity may randomly pop up!! 🙂
I was so shocked to see the reservations early. However after speaking to someone on the phone, he told me if someone already had breakfast reservations before the character dining was released, they were already in for the character dining. So how many open reservations could there really have been? No chance for April.
I love an occasional character breakfast, but this was the best breakfast choice at boardwalk. What other options for full service a la carte breakfast is there now? Thanks
No problem reserving for August 3rd today. I guess I got lucky. My two teens favorite characters Rapunzel and Ariel.
Super bummed! ☹️ I anticipated reservations to open March 1 and planned my day around hopefully securing a reservation! I saw at 11:45 am today booking started yesterday and called on my lunch hour and completely gone for not only my trip in April but also August! Extremely disappointed!

I was anticipating booking on March 1st like the original post stated. Now I see reservations opened up sooner than that date and it is now sold out for the week of our vacation. Will there be more availability opening up on March 1st for the people who were waiting to book as originally told?
Any idea when the reservations will update to the correct name in MDE or if they even will! I think all of us who made reservations early this morning will be much more comfortable once we see “Bon Voyage” show up on our plans. Thanks so much.
Earlier when calling to make a reservation I was told there was a glitch in the system not allowing representatives to book. I was advised to keep checking the app to see if the problem resvoled. Still has not 3 hours later… any idea on when this issue will be solved & booking will be available??

On the MDE app, it just says breakfast at trattoria Al forno…the email confirmation says “Bonus Voyage Breakfast”. Hope that helps.

Got a reservation for our trip in May! All set! Can’t wait, the menu looks delicious! I especially like the Sunday sauce. Wonder if it’ll taste as good as mine…. hmmmmmm.
Can ANYONE tell me if ALL breakfast reservations will be character experiences here? I booked at 7:30 this morning, and now I’m being told that if it doesn’t say “Character Experience”, I am not booked at the Bon Voyage Breakfast. I have called 4 times and been on hold for over 2 hours, only to continually get conflicting information, yes it is; not it’s not!! No one can tell me whether or not ALL breakfast reservations will have characters. PLEASE!! Help!! :o) Thanks!

Spent 15 minutes on hold only to find out that they can’t help me either. She says no one can help with reservations at this time, so don’t waste yiur money on long-distance charges like I did.
Will there be Disney photographers there to take the photos with the characters?
So frustrating. I made a reservation through the app but I am stuck on the “Review & Confirm” page ? Says it’s having trouble connecting. Now I am sitting on hold, paying long-distance charges to talk to someone. ?

Hi, got my reservation for June 8 on My Disney Experience app on iphone a hour ago.

This is frustrating. Are reservations open of not. I can see availability for July but then get an error message when I try to reserve. Website states reservations available to book March 1st but also states to call to check for availability so which is it?

The Disney Dining page where you make a reservation says this: “Reservations for April 2, 2017 and beyond will be accepted starting March 1, 2017.” I made a reservation this morning. Will it be honored?

Oh this is just so very exciting! I was able to successfully book breakfast on the 14th of August – my Flynn Ryder and Prince Eric loving daughters are going to be OVER THE MOON about this! I think I’ll keep it a surprise……

I was super excited this morning and was up at 5:50 to be ready to book a breakfast on June 7th for the breakfast. I am currently booked and super excited except now a facebook group is saying that unless the reservation is for Bon Voyage, it is not a character breakfast. is this true?

Yes, the Bon Voyage Breakfast will be 1 table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
When you click the link above and make a reservation it does not say anything about this being a character experience or anything about Bon Voyage. Have I booked the correct experience? Is it possible that Disney would have a character and non-character meal at the same time in the same restaurant?
