Disney Cruise Line voyages and Adventures by Disney guided vacations have long been the most popular exchanges for Disney Vacation Club Members, and new discount offers are making these options even more appealing in 2019.
Disney Cruise Line, for example, is offering eligible Members a 30 percent discount off original points chart values for select Bahamian sailings aboard the Disney Dream out of Port Canaveral, Fla. (5-night sailings departing June 28, and July 7 and 12, 2019 – each featuring two stops at Disney’s private-island paradise, Castaway Cay), as well as select Mexican Riviera sailings aboard the Disney Wonder out of San Diego, Calif. Our friends at Adventures by Disney, meanwhile, are inviting eligible Members to save at least 20 percent off original points chart values for select river cruises and land-based trips.
River cruises included in the Adventures by Disney offer include Danube River Cruises (featuring eight destinations in four countries – Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary) departing June 6, July 12 and Dec. 15, 2019, and Rhine River Cruises (featuring six destinations in four countries – Switzerland, France, Germany and the Netherlands) departing July 15, 22 and 29, 2019.
Those preferring to “adventure together” on land may apply this Adventures by Disney discount to short escapes in the U.S. (with options in Boston, New York City, the American Southwest and more), and lengthier explorations of Europe, Asia, Central America and South America.

Yea, it started out really nice, but over the years, they oversold DVC, and now, it is super difficult to get what you want, and when you can get it.
When did point value change for holidays. One of the reasons DVC was so attractive when we considered purchasing 18 years ago was that other than seasons the point value Sunday thru Thursday nite was always the same, holiday or not/now I see if you book the boardwalk during New Years points for holiday are 50 per night a HUGH difference//
