If you thought I was done with my Foodie Guides, then you’re in for a treat because I have even MORE festive holiday offerings to share with you! That’s right, Disney California Adventure park is going to have more offerings this year than ever before, with a variety of eats, sweets, and treats celebrating the season IN ADDITION to all of the wonderful Festival of Holiday marketplaces (see the Foodie Guide for Disney Festival of Holidays here).
These items will all be offered throughout the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which starts Nov. 8, 2019 and runs through Jan. 6, 2020! And as always, be sure to check out the Disneyland app to discover the magical world of mobile ordering. Many of our quick service locations throughout the park offer this service, which allows you to mobile order your yummy holiday meals in advance, skip the line, and get straight to snacking! Heads up that the Cozy Cone’s Peppermint Ice Cream is NOT peppermint. Wintergreen maybe. Spearmint maybe. Not peppermint. Tastes like toothpaste.
I just love these Foodie Guides! We have been blessed with 3 of them (so far) just based on Disneyland Resort’s holiday season alone, but I suspect there is probably a Candy Guide or a guide to sweets coming too! Maybe a guide for the holiday food at the 3 Disney hotels and in Downtown Disney as well?
I’ve always suspected that a lot of guests aren’t even aware of many of the seasonal food & snack options available throughout the whole resort because there are a lot of hidden gems tucked away at lesser-known restaurants or counter service locations where people would not think to look for them. Or, perhaps people don’t know that they can find certain items in more than one place. These Foodie Guides do a great job of drawing attention to all of the deliciousness that awaits us!
