As we previously shared, Downtown Disney District will begin reopening on July 9 in line with the state’s reopening guidelines. We are pleased to welcome back a variety of our shopping and dining experiences during this initial phase, including the flagship World of Disney store.
We are following guidelines from health authorities and government agencies, as well as applying learnings from the phased reopening at Disney Springs in Florida to guide our reopening plans. With the health of guests and Disney cast members at the forefront of planning, several operational changes will be implemented based on guidance from health authorities to promote physical distancing and cleanliness throughout the Downtown Disney District.
During the initial reopening phase, Downtown Disney District will have capacity measures in place, as well as limitations on parking and operating hours. Guests will be directed to self-park at Simba lot (at Disneyland Drive and Katella Ave). Please follow signs for clearly defined entrances and exits. In addition, Downtown Disney District hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily. Individual location hours may vary.
Additional measures and information will be shared closer to the reopening date. Please check Disneyland.com/DTD for the most current information.
We look forward to welcoming you back next month to the Downtown Disney District!
UPDATE 6/24/20: Our theme parks and resort hotels remain closed and will reopen at a later date, pending state and local government approvals.
I have parking on my Annual Pass will that give me free parking in downtown Disney
Any links to what stores/restaurants in Downtown Disney will reopen July 9 and what remains closed?
Will I be able to park with my annual pass card??
Hello, Is there a fee for self-parking to visit DownTown Disney? I have an AP w/parking, if there is a fee, will I be able to use the AP for parking? Thank you.
I have a signature pass and my husband has a Flex pass, will I be able to get my money back after canceling my pass and can we cancel my husbands pass because if I am not going, then he is not going either.
Can’t wait to go get a Crazyshake at Black Tap and a sandwich at Earl’s! And to finally get to shop at Disney stores again! Looking forward not just to World of Disney but Pin Traders and the Dress Shop and the Home store and Marceline’s too!
I am very curious to how you will handle signature plus annual pass holders with Max Pass included and no black out dates…
I have not seen our scenario addressed, so I am hoping someone will be able to help. We are DVC owners at GCV. We booked our holiday vacation for the week after Christmas and added 5 day tickets to our Disneyland account 11 months before our vacation. Then Covid-19 changed Disney, for everyone’s safety. It appears in Florida if there were reservations and tickets in place those vacationers are able to make reservations for park entry, is that what will occur in California as well? Thanks for any information, we need to buy plane tickets, and we don’t want to spend even more money if we can’t go to the parks as planned.
i have free parking on my pass. can i still use free parking????????????? i know it is downtown Disney and the park is still not open.
Yikes, I’m hoping mid July everyone standing outside won’t be turned away bc of temps, but I’m certainly going to be there to give it a try. Thanks for the info. Can’t wait to be back in our happy place following all the guidelines.
