The Walt Disney Company recently announced this year’s Disney Scholars – 50 recipients of tuition scholarships, up to $20,000 per student. The scholarships, applied over four years, were awarded to children of cast members and employees of The Walt Disney Company from around the world, including eight Disneyland Resort cast members.
Nicholas Moores, son of Susan Moores, an administrative assistant in Entertainment Operations, is one of the proud recipients. He is attending Stanford University this fall.
“I can’t think of any other employer that is able to provide this generous of a scholarship opportunity to children of its employees. My son is incredibly fortunate to have been selected as a recipient,” said Moores, a 25-year cast member.
Scholarships were awarded based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service and demonstrated leadership.
Congratulations to all our Disney Scholars!
