Disney Magic Takes Guests ‘Under the Sea’

posted on July 11th, 2011 by Valarie Sukovaty, Disneyland Public Relations

The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure park has some amazing special effects. One of those effects is one of the most important: the underwater effect. Imagineers created the illusion that you are gradually submerged “under the sea.” In the video below, you can see for yourself how advanced technology and Disney magic help guests become part of Ariel’s world.

I love this ride and can’t wait to see it in Magic Kingdom! Sorry, but when will Magic Kingdom’s “approximately” open?

The effects in the ride are great, but it would really be fantastic if they could include REAL bubbles while simulating going under the water.

This is a great dark ride. The animatronics are awesome!

I am so excited for this ride. I’ve been waiting for a Little Mermaid themed attraction at the Disney Resort for some time now.

Love the animatronics on this attraction! Will this this attraction be included in the WDW fantasyland expansion?
