For more than a year now, we’ve shared updates on the New Fantasyland expansion at Magic Kingdom Park and we’re just as excited as you are to experience these magical new attractions for ourselves.
Today we’re thrilled to announce that the grand opening of New Fantasyland will take place on December 6, 2012. Attractions included in this opening are Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto, Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts.
Previews of these attractions will begin November 19.
As previously planned, the New Fantasyland expansion will continue with the opening of Princess Fairytale Hall in 2013 and the debut of a new Disney “mountain” in the form of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in 2014.
The Storybook Circus section of the New Fantasyland expansion, which includes Barnstormer – Starring the Great Goofini, the Casey Jr. Splash & Soak Station, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant, opened to guests in July.

Two questions about the Preview Period. I saw where you said it is open to the general public and may have limited hours for attractions but will they offer FastPasses during the preiew period since hours can be limitd? Second, will the hours for attractions be posted or just a surpise?

How will we know when making reservations will be available?! My future wife and I will be going there on our honeymoon from Dec 30th-Jan 2nd. Belle has forever and always will be her most favorite character. I would LOOVEEE to be able to surprise her with a NYE dinner at the “Be Out Guest Restaurant”.
my wife and i will be down there the 26’th of sept-oct 7’th. will any of fantyland be open so we may enjoy? also the new reasturant that will be opening BELL it has no prices for their meals where can we see a menu?

My husband and I celebrate our anniversary in May every year at Disney World. We have been watching the new Fantasyland being built the past 2 years. Can not wait to see it next year. Will be booking our trip in November. See you soon

My Husband and I and our 3 children are coming on the 11th to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary and our wedding theme was Beauty and The Beast. I was wondering. We are booked there from December 1 to the 9th. Does this have any effect on our meal plan? Someone told me if we are booked there during that time we are entitled to a free meal plan for my wife and I
going near the end OCT any chance there be a preview time happening then around Oct 16 to Oct 25 this be my only chance to get to for long time sad to say
Is the princess fairytale hall a place where all the princesses will be and related story line? Could you fill me in a bit more about this? We are planning a trip in Feb 2013 and need to see if I should wait.

Will all guests be able to take part in the Nov. 19 preview or is that for certain guests such as Annual Passholders or DVC Members only?
I really want to go to WDW sometime after I graduate in 2014. I hope the whole Fantasyland Expansion will be complete by then! I want to experience the Disney magic one last time before I go off to college.

Belle is my favorite princess!! So excited!! Any idea on when we will be able to make dining reservations for Belles restaurant? Or if it will be character dining? We will be going Dec 27th through Jan 4th.

Jennifer, My granddaughter LOVES Belle – at the age of two she sings Be Our Guest and dances to it. We are bringing her to Disney World for her birthday on Dec. 2, but will be in the park on Nov. 29 – do you think the Be our Guest and Belle’s village will be open to us for dinner to celebrate her birthday a few days early? We are arriving on Nov. 28 and leaving on Dec. 2. We plan to try to stay at a Disney Property but are not DVC owners. What is the difference to the preview and for season pass holders?

I’d love to see them soft open the section at the Christmas parties. I leave Nov 19th and would not be back for several years, so it would likely be my only opportunity to see the new section for quite a while.
100% it will open December 6th?? It’s my anniversary date and we are going to be booking our second visit this year! we sure love Disney!! 🙂
