I can’t believe Night of Joy 2012 is less than a month away. This is our 30th year of hosting the top Contemporary Christian and Gospel artists at Walt Disney World Resort, and this year’s lineup is one of the most exciting in our history. Magic Kingdom Park is getting ready, and so are our artists. Throughout the month, I’ll be showcasing some artists on the Disney Parks Blog. Today, we have a few shout-outs we’d like to share with you.

Also, hot off the press are the concert schedules for each night. Here’s how they shake out. Of course, times, stages and performers are always subject to change.

While artists perform at several stages, many popular Magic Kingdom Park attractions also are available for guests. In addition, there are special benefits for groups of 10 or more. Additional information about individual and group tickets is available at www.nightofjoy.com.

  • From the pictures it appears there is no seating. Can you bring a chair and/or a cooler with non-alcoholic beverages?

  • So excited to attend this year. We’ll be watching our daughter and her husband and their band perform as they were one of the local bands who auditioned and were chosen.

  • Do you have any idea how long everyones sets will be? I wanna see Thousand Foot Krutch, but don’t want to miss Third Day. Thanks!

  • I wish our visit there was one week later!! We are leaving on the 2nd, and I would have loved to see Casting Crowns, Lecrae, Third Day, and Mercy Me

  • We have our tickets and we can’t wait! It’s our first time going to Night of Joy and we especially want to see Lecrae and Third Day. How soon/what time prior to the performances would you suggest finding a spot in front of the castle to ensure a good spot?

    • I would usually be there at least 30 minutes before the concert starts. But that’s me. I’m a planner 🙂

  • I’m so pumped Lecrae is rocking the castle stage! He needed way more room! This will be my 4th year taking students! I first went in 7th grade and saw dc talk! (till they got rained out!) Wahoo!!! Any sneak peeks at the shirts? 🙂

  • We would love to attend Night of Joy! It’s hard with school having just started — but someday we’ll make it!

  • Awesome. How about a shout-out video with the remaining artists?! What a great lineup!

  • the 9th and 10th are a Sunday/Monday. I think dates should probably be the 7th/8th.

    • You’re correct. The dates are Sept. 7 and 8. Working on fixing it 🙂 Sorry for the confusion.
