Oh my stars, do I have an exciting and oh-so-magical secret to tell you today! The Disney Floral & Gifts Dream Makers (or shall I say, Disney’s Enchanted Florist) are now offering a new proposal that takes place at Magic Kingdom Park at a somewhat royal location. Since we want to keep this secret for all our future brides who just might be reading this post, I can’t give away all the details, but, I can share a few.

Imagine this: Your bride-to-be receives a beautiful gift along with a special note upon returning to your Walt Disney World Resort room or even while having dinner at a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant. After receiving the special gift and note, which requests your presence at a certain location, you both travel to this special spot that will soon have your bride-to-be exclaiming “Yes!” as you propose under starry skies, fireworks and, of course, watch the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.

There is so much more I want to tell you, but we don’t want to give away the surprise for our future brides. To learn more, call a Dream Maker at 407-WDW-GIFT. They will walk you through the proposal, beginning with recommending the engagement gift and magical note. They’ll also recommend a window of time to arrive at the “special” location so you’re not blocked out for safety purposes due to the fireworks. And, after your proposal, if you’re looking for a personalized and over-the-top romantic celebration set up in the comfort of your Walt Disney World Resort room, check out the In-Room Celebrations available, too.

Stay tuned to future posts, where I’ll share more engagement ideas you can experience at the Walt Disney World Resort!

  • Can someone help me with this engagement? I’ve been on the phone with Dream Makers and the Disney Wedding team. No one has any information on the Wishes location. The Dream Makers told me they can send a gift and/or note to your room or restaurant but they aren’t aware of any special location for the Wishes show. The Wedding team just transferred me back to the Dream Makers. Thanks for your help!

    • Hi Logan:
Good question. The proposal can take place at the Cinderella wishing well, near the castle, before the Wishes show. Then after the proposal, you can view the fireworks from many locations around the park. There isn’t a specific viewing spot to see the fireworks for engaged couples though. However, there are many good spots to watch the show, for example at the Rose Garden between Tomorrowland and the castle.

  • Michael and Corey,

Guest Services cast members at Disneyland and California Adventure are more than eager to assist in setting up proposals. It can be the highlight of their day. I personally know of 2 individuals (that I lent a hand in, my brother and my cousin) for super special magical proposals. At the end of the day it wasn’t a lot of work for the cast members but was a super special and magical experience for the couples. Give them a call and they will be delighted to help you out. Happy proposing!

  • My husband proposed to me under Cinderella Castle, but he did it all on his own. This September, we’ll be celebrating our 10th anniversary on the Disney Fantasy!!

  • My girlfriend and I are closer to Disneyland, and every time we return from a trip everyone checks her finger for a new ring. If you could develop something for there, it may be appreciated ^_^

  • Are there any plans to be doing this at Disneyland? I will be proposing to my gf at Disneyland this September and hope you have something as spectacular there!

    • Hi Michael. Good question. I’m sure our Dream Makers at Disneyland could help us with insight on engagement gifts, proposals and celebrations. Their number is 714 781 GIFT.
