“Now it’s time to say goodbye to all our company!” After 24-hours of dazzling magic and entertainment, the kickoff to the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration has officially concluded.

From opening performances of “Paint the Night” parade, “Disneyland Forever” fireworks and “World of Color – Celebrate!” … to sparkling merchandise and food offerings, we hope you enjoyed our updates on the Disney Parks Blog.

Even though our 24-hour party is over, our Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration is just beginning. In fact, we’d like to leave you with a quote from Walt Disney himself: “We’re just getting started …”

See you real soon!

  • How long will the 60th Anniversary Celebration last? Will it end in 2015 or will it continue for one full year? I hope so!

  • How long will the Diamond celebration events run? (special shows, parades, fireworks) Through the end of 2015? Into 2016?

  • I agree with Jeffrey, I’d like to see the webcam’s running more often and in different area’s (2 on the castle?!?) like Big Thunder or the Drop at Splash Mountain!

Also, seeing a reply to some of these comments would be nice….

  • How long will the 60 year celebration last? Will it still be going on in June of 2016?

  • Great night at DLR. Those 20-somethings sleeping in the locker rooms at 3am got nothin on this almost 50 year old and her husband and friends. We rode more rides than we have in the last 5x we’ve been to the parks, filled our lockers with amazing anniversary merchandise, ate until we would literally pop and waved good bye to all the characters in their awesome jammie’s at 6am. We even survived the #greatesplanadeescapeof2015 (aka getting back into DL from DCA at 2:50am). That was a nailbiter. LOL SO SUPER FUN!!

  • Looked for 3 days but could not find the poster you place here on March 4th. Going back to the park this week. Where will the merchandise be that has the 1955 to 1964 print with Mermaid?

  • Hi, I’m just curious as to if there will be a soundtrack for the 60th anniversary including World of Color: Celebrate, Paint the Night, Disneyland Forever, Soundsational, and Pixar Play Parade. I love the show soundtracks that have been released in the past (last I know of is Remember… Dreams Come True) and I would really love to have all these newer shows to listen to at home!!!

  • Any information that you can share as to how long the celebration will go on for? Hoping that key experiences such as “Paint the Night” will still be running this September/October. I do know that hours of operation are reduced outside the peak season and thus night-time events typically only show on weekends. So am making sure to include a Saturday or Sunday for our trip. Thanks!

  • Just wondering….Why doesn’t Disney keep the webcams up all year long? Its fun to check in every once in a while and it obviously isn’t replacing the Disney experience. No one is going to sit home and watch a webcam instead of going to the park. I see it as a marketing tool.
