This summer, guests can enjoy a variety of Star Wars experiences at Disney Parks including the upcoming fireworks show, “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular,” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting June 17. To celebrate a summer of Star Wars at Disney Parks, the D-Tech on Demand team is introducing a limited release collection of Star Wars-inspired artwork at the D-Tech on Demand kiosks in Florida and California.

On the first and fifteenth day of each month this summer, guests will find a new piece of artwork used for creating customized or personalized mobile phone cases. Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort will also find new retail MagicBands artwork.

The two images of phone cases and retail MagicBands above include artwork being released on June 1.

The process for creating a D-Tech on Demand phone case or retail MagicBand takes a few minutes. Guests can select their phone model or MagicBand color, chose a favorite design and add a name. For Star Wars artwork, names can be written in Aurebesh, one of the alphabets used in the Star Wars galaxy. This Disney Parks Blog article shows just how easy it is to create a unique phone case.

  • Where can i find out which phone styles/sizes are available. [ie. iphone 5 v iphone 6plus v samsung, droid phones etc.]?

  • OK I noticed you mentioned a galaxy s7 option for this summer for August or September. Has there been any update on this? Been wanting to get a d tech case for sometime!

  • I’m disappointed that the MagicBands are only available for 30 days. That doesn’t help me if I’m not a Florida resident or visiting WDW at a different time.

  • I like the artistic variety. We are headed down in September and I’m holding out hope for a TRON or King Louie design. Any chance?

  • Are they going to add the Galaxy s7 edge to the available options or just the regular s7?

  • When will cases for the Samsung Galaxy S7 be available?

    • @Andrew – An option for Samsung Galaxy S7 will be available later this summer, possibly late-August or September.

  • Hey Steven – Are ALL of the MagicBands with artwork shown in the post going to be limited to 30 days? Or just the bottom four bands?

    • @Ethan – The artwork shown will be available for approximately 30 days after initial introduction. The MagicBands toward the top of the article were released starting June 1 while the ones pictured at the bottom will be coming later this month around June 15. For the first images, they will no longer be offered after July 1 and so forth.
