My Disney career started when I visited Walt Disney World in the 1980s and decided I wanted to grow up and be a Disney animator. After a decade of filling notebooks with drawings, I began filling them with stories instead and found that writing was my true passion. I was hired as a writer for Disney in 2001, and joined the Disney Parks Blog team in 2011. By far, my favorite topics to write are about Walt Disney Imagineering, any Magic Kingdom news (my favorite park), and Walt Disney World's Halloween and Christmas offerings. I also love planning and co-hosting our Disney Parks Blog meet-up events.
