The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2015 runs from March 4 to May 17 at Walt Disney World Resort. With beautiful flowers to see and delicious food to taste, I love strolling around Epcot a few times throughout spring. Here’s an update on some additional products created especially for this event. I also have a first look inside the Festival Center that will be open Fridays through Sundays in Future World between Mission: SPACE and Universe of Energy pavilions.

In a previous article, I promised details about the retail MagicBand created for this event. This new item has an edition size of 5,000 and features Anna and Elsa in their “Frozen Fever” attire from the upcoming animated short debuting in theaters before Disney’s “Cinderella” on March 13. Like all other retail MagicBands, this item can be linked later. Look for it in select retail locations at Epcot (it will not be available via the Disney Parks online store).

I also found a few apparel items for adults and kids including Olaf shirts in blue and green, a Sorcerer Mickey topiary shirt, a yellow Minnie Mouse shirt for women, and a specially designed shirt for Annual Passholders.

Back by popular demand, we are releasing a new 12-month calendar featuring character topiaries from previous year’s festivals.

Guests will also find an iPhone 6 case with Anna and Elsa, magnets, headware, garden accessories, a new Disney Gift Card and much more.

While the Festival Center will only be open during the weekends, these items will be offered at several locations throughout Future World and World Showcase at Epcot (there are some great merchandise kiosks found along the World Showcase promenade).

Finally, the Festival Center will host Disney artist Jerrod Maruyama on March 8 from 11a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 2p.m. He will be signing his Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival-inspired piece titled “Spring Has Sprung.” I love his artwork so much!

Here are a few additional images from my visit to Epcot. I hope to see you this spring!

  • Mr. Miller,

We recently had a wonderful vacation at the Walt Disney World parks. We had went to the Walt Disney World Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2015. Is there any way to purchase some of the t-shirts online?

  • Hi,

I will be at the parks on April 1. Do you think that the Frozen Magic bands will still be available? I wouldn’t think there will be more than 190 sold a day, but it is a frozen item.

    • @Sheryl – I hope you have a wonderful trip. That’s a great question. I unfortunately can’t really say if it will still be available by April 1. It will depend upon how popular it is with Guests during the next few weeks.

  • Hi Steve,

Please put in a request for me for more woman v-necks in woman sizes. I always pick up a t-shirt when I do food and wine & the flower show but, as I didn’t get one at the 2014 food & wine, I was concerned that there were only crew necks which are not flattering to everyone unfortunately.

Love the article, great job as always!

    Carole

    • @Carole – Thank you for the feedback. I’ll share it with the merchandising teams.

  • Thanks so much for your assistance! 🙂

  • I love the new magic band so much! I have so many currently, but I think I may have to have this one as well.

    • @Jonathan – I spoke with the Merchandise Guest Services team. Unfortunately, they won’t have access to the items for Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival for maybe a few weeks. We don’t have an ETA as to when (or if) they will be able to gain access. I’ll have to do some checking on the item numbers.

      Here are the item numbers:
      Magnet – 400009198973
      Mason Jar – 400009236002

      Olaf Garden Statue – 400009122893
      Chip/Dale Garden Statue – 400009108125

      2X-Large – 400009151107
      3X-Large – 400009151114

I also found the Hollywood Tower Hotel Robe:

      2X-Large – 400009089882

  • Hi Steven,
Are those Dooney and Bourke bags I see in the above pictures? Please say yes! Have a Magical Day!

  • Hey Steven,

Thanks for the update about link-it-later. Unfortunately, the Epcot retail management team told me that they received an email today saying that they had to link the Flower and Garden magic band now (not link it later). I hope you can help fix this dilemma.

    Thank you!

    • @Andrew – This has been corrected. I apologize for the challenge. All retail MagicBands can be linked later which includes any open edition, limited release or limited edition MagicBands.

  • will there be vinylmations this year?

    • @Rachael – There are no event-specific Vinylmation figures planned for the festival this year.

  • Are you sure the MagicBands are link-it-later? I am at the festival and they are saying link it now only. Are the cast members confused? I really wanted to get a few of them for friends and family.

  • Will the release of the special Magic Bands be done throughout the Festival? Or will they all be available the first week possibly causing those of us arriving the last week to not have a chance of purchasing them?

    • @Cassy – The retail MagicBand was released today. It has an edition size of 5,000 and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. It’s difficult for me to predict the popularity of this item, so I am unable to say if it will be available during the last week of the Festival in May. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you.

  • Will I be able to order the merchandise from the Flower and Garden Festival online?

    • @Mario – These items will not be offered on the Disney Parks online store.

  • As sick of Frozen merchandise as I am, I do have to admit that this MagicBand design is absolutely beautiful. If it were available as a mug or something I would probably buy one for myself and one for my sister. One day I hope to make it to Flower and Garden Festival

  • Are the bands for sure link-it-later, because I thought limited edition/release were only link-it-now?

  • Will the Orange Bird Mickey ear hat make a comeback?

    • @Erica – No plans at this time.

  • Congrats on post 500! Can you tell me the material used on the magnet? Is it wooden like in years past?

Also, is there a deluxe print this year (other than “Spring Has Sprung”)?

    • @Jonathan – Thank you! It’s been a fun time writing for the Disney Parks Blog. The magnet is wood. I also recall seeing a large framed poster of the Sorcerer Mickey topiary logo yesterday while I visited the Festival Center. I unfortunately don’t have details about it but my gut says, yes, they will offer something like last year.

  • Are you able to get the new magic band delivered to your hotel for arrival day? 🙂 it’s adorable!

    • @Terri – Unfortunately, that is not an option. This retail MagicBand will be sold in the following locations at Epcot during the International Flower & Garden Festival. It has an edition size of 5,000 so quantities are limited.

      – Mouse Gear
      – Camera Center
      – Pin Central
      – Future World Kiosk
      – Port Of Entry in World Showcase
      – World Traveler in World Showcase

  • Is the new magic band going to do anything special?

    • @Jamie – That’s a great question. We prefer to keep those “surprise and delights” exactly as they are … a surprise to delight Guests 🙂
