Springtime is in the air and on the ground here at Disneyland park, and again this year I am totally blown away by the blossoms. The Disneyland Resort horticulture team has been out in full-force – planting, pruning and perfecting the seasonal landscape. Take a look backstage at the Disneyland Resort nursery, where the team prepares plants for their day in the sun.

  • Plant Caring + Disney Parks = My Dream Job

  • The landscaping is one of my fav things about the park! Just seeing how all the plants fit in with the various lands and change during the year is wonderful. If you love the plants, I recommend taking the ‘Cultivating the Magic’ Tour. It really adds to the love of the plants in the park.

  • We ALWAYS take note of the landscaping at Disneyland. Even my 15 year old nephew has been commenting for years on how nice it is! Kudos to the Horticulture team – keep up the awesome work!

  • I have to agree with everything said in the video clip. Disneyland Resort’s flowers, plants and trees are not only theme-appropriate and help to tell the stories of each area, but Springtime in general is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit the parks. I was there several weeks ago — on the first day of the Egg-stravaganza — and I couldn’t stop looking at the wondrous Tabebuia trees in the Esplanade and in each park. They were/are absolutely stunning, and the color was so rich and lush. The flowers in each park were gorgeous as well.
