As we’re prepping for the Halloween season and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I got some “sweet” inside information from Creative Entertainment Producer Gene Harding that I had to share with you. Take a look at this – I just got a hold of the 2012 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Treat Location Map and I’m sharing it with you so you can map out your plan to capture as much candy possible before you even arrive on property.
“2012

This year, there will be 11 candy spots, plus a few pop-up treat stations as well. And this year’s event will feature more candy than ever before – yum! (Check the Disney Parks Blog later today for Jennifer’s update on what you can expect.)

And if sugary candy is not your thing, there will be healthy options, too. You can exchange all your goodies, collected at the treat locations, for candy that fits your dietary needs, such as sugar-free candy, treats without nuts and healthy options too. Simply bring your candy to City Hall, and they’ll exchange your goodies for treats that meet your dietary restrictions.

Now I bet you’re wondering what to bring to hold all your treats. There’s no need to bring a thing, because Disney Floral & Gifts created these light-up Trick or Treat Pumpkins. Each pumpkin is filled by one of our “basketeers” with a holiday Mickey or Minnie plush, treats, an autograph book and pen for the meet-and-greets, and a light-up pumpkin lanyard, plus a special trick inside. Your child can “treat” at the meet-and-greets with their very own exclusive pumpkin, and show a simple magical illusion as well! And, for easy transport home, the pumpkin is collapsible to enjoy now and for years to come. By the way, did you notice the bat-shaped tag that can be personalized with glow-in-the-dark thread, too? Truly one of a kind.

  • Thank you so much for offering a candy exchange with healthy options and sugar-free candy. MNSSHP is our favorite event of the year and we LOVE the Headless Horseman (now if I can only get a good picture of him). 🙂

  • Are any of these items included in the price of admission to the Not So Scary Halloween Party? We are getting into town on 11/2 (the last night) and wonder what it’s all about. 🙂

  • Do our boys need to bring a bag to collect the goodies around the park or will some type of bag be provided at the party? Thank you!

  • We are going to Disneylandresort in CA for the Mickey Halloween party, I would like to get the Minnie baskets for my little girls but the Disney Floral & Gifts site said that it is only ‘local delivery’. Does Disneyland have anything similar?

  • That’s what I want to know too Jessica. I would imagine the other two items they talk about have to be purchased but it doesn’t say that anywhere. But it really sounds like they “give” you the trick or treat bag.

  • The Mickey pumpkin lights in the background of the family picture look awesome! Oh and the candy sounds amazing as well. If you are going, have a magical time!!

  • Any chance they’ll preview Disneyland? This is amazing information to have prior to attending the party!

  • I am curious if we are adults going, will we get the teen bag, too? Or is there something for adults w/o kids? I’ve heard its still a great event for us…! Thank you!

    • Hi Rebecca….it is a great event for guests of all ages. I went last year and it was amazing to say the least! I was truly impressed. So, if you enjoy goodies, and an over-the-top creative Halloween celebration, Magic Kingdom will be the place to be for sure. The gifts featured in the story are for purchase to tie in with the party. And, if you’re looking for more options, click on to the “Spirited Halloween Surprise” blue link in the story. The link will take you to our website of disneyflorist.com.

  • Any news on if there will be any Magic Photopass Photographers out? Didn’t happen to see any on the map.

    • Good news… photo pass will be there too! They wouldn’t miss this “Spooktacular” holiday. 🙂

  • How does one acquire one of these amazing Trick or Treat Pumpkins?

I’m not going to be there during Halloween this year but do we purchase them? Or are they something that children get when they visit one of the candy spots?

    Just wondering 🙂

    • Hi Jessica… these light up pumpkins are for purchase by calling a Dream Maker 407-WDW-GIFT. And, if you want to learn more about the pumpkins, you can click on to the blue Trick or Treat link in the story. We can also ship them to your home if in the US too.
