The United Nations has proclaimed May 22 International Day for Biological Diversity. Guests who visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot experience amazing biological diversity in the various species of animals that make their homes here.

Where is the Victoria Crowned Pigeon location in the Animal Kingdom? Is it in the Maharajah Jungle Trek?
Tim, you’re right! Guests can see the Victoria crowned pigeon in the beautiful aviary on Maharajah Jungle Trek.
We saw the Victoria crowned pigeon the last time we were in the aviary, and it’s stunning! The aviary itself is amazing; we were all looking in every direction trying not to miss anything! But when you turn around and see a bird so unique, it just stops you in your tracks!
