  • I don’t know if you’re still reading these, Laura, but I wanted to apologize for not attending — unfortunately the acceptance came after I had left on vacation! (And when I vacation, I usually “vacation” from email, too!)

While I would have LOVED to have attended had I been checking my email on the 27th (and not riding Space Mountain!), I would like to thank you — and the Powers That Be — for organizing events such as this one. Even if you can’t attend it’s exciting to follow them on the blog!

  • Dear Event Services,

When this event was announced and I was one of the lucky ones to manage to get signed up in the brief moment the window was open (thanks to an alert from a Mom’s Panel friend,) it was announced as taking place at the Yacht or Beach Club. [In fact, in this very blog entry it states even now that it will be at the Yacht Club.]

Now that I have finally received my confirmation PDF, it states that the event is at Odyssey, a venue inside Epcot, a ticketed admission location; however, the same form also states that “[at the front entrance of Epcot] you and your party will be given your entrance ticket and will be instructed to where the event will be held.”

So, do I need a theme park admission or not?

Given that I am departing for the area tomorrow, Wednesday, a rapid response would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Jud

  • I am so excited to go!!! I got my confirmation today! I was at the Magic Kingdom opening day, October 1st, 1971 as a 9 month old baby! I am heading back with my family and my parents to celebrate 40 years for me and Walt Disney World. We have enjoyed WDW as a family tradition for three generations!

  • I hope I got my RSVP in on time! What a great opportunity!

  • That’s a whole room full of personality for one meet ‘n’ greet. I can’t imagine the excitement level. You should hold it outside, otherwise it is going to be through the roof! And the cameras are going to be clicking away. This group of “characters” loves to take pictures as much if not more than the folks lining up to meet them. I can’t wait to see the photos! Have fun one and all!

  • I’ve RSVP’d. I’m very excited to meet the Moms and thank them for their great work!

  • Sooo EXCITED!!!!! Can’t wait to see everyone there!!! Very close commute for us from the Beach Club, where we were planning on hanging that afternoon at SAB, resting up for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon and after-party that evening. 🙂

  • I’m so jealous of all going. I would love to meet the moms panel in person! Have a fun & exciting get together!

  • Very disappointed I won’t be there on the 1st. Arriving on the 23rd! I would have loved to meet the Moms.

  • I would LOVE to come!! I just hope the festivities start after whatever is going on at the Magic Kingdom for the 40th anniversary… otherwise I’m not sure I’ll be able to drag my husband out of there! 🙂
